I've loved this song since hearing it in Kill Bill, I've heard it since then by many singers including Cher and Nancy Sinatra. It's crazy, I never thought I'd say something like that about a song sing by a kid but this is the best version I've ever heard. She sings it with a kind of sad resignation, melancholy and... dignity. It's so unexpected. Even the presentation is splendid. Her, the white dress and crown, the talented guitarist, the lighting, the respectful audience. Like a jewel box surrounding a diamond.

Absolutely stunning, and not just because an 8-year delivers a perfect cover of this song, that a billion people know very well. What is really stunning is that her version is better than previous ones, because of her tone, because of her narrating style, because she actually sings this live without Autotune etc.. (I am sure even Nancy Sinatra sang playback on TV back then....) and as mentioned - her natural melancholy when she sings. The latter seems to be the case because she enters her own world when she sings. For all these reasons, she is untouchable, and older competitors can at least say they lost out to a generational talent.....

Normally you get the "wow" feeling the first time you hear someone special on a talent show. This girl gives me the "wow" feeling everytime.

Amazing subtle nuance for a child. She appears to really "feel" what she is singing, like she's lived a life past her years.

This girl is the proof singing isn't about performance and extreme vocal skills, it's all about feeling the song inside of you, it's all about emotions...

Thank you so much for this subtitled version. Angelina is a mystery to me. The way she controls her voice, sometimes nasal, sometimes almost whispering the lyrics that demand to be whispered, sometimes being strong, but with no exaggeration. To be that perfect we think that someone would need to train so much, but it doesn't seem to be the case here. Of course that she trains a lot, but it seems to be quite natural. Billie Holiday, Amy Winehouse, Edith Piaf, some of the greatest singers of all time, had to go through so many difficult things in life, what ended forging the melancholy and power of their voices. That's why is a mystery to me when a 7, 8 years girl sings the way she sings, so perfect and at the same time, with a profundity that is insane. I won't say that she is better than the original singers of the songs that she picks, but her interpretations rival the originals and, yes, sometimes she does better. And she is only 7 years old! I can't wait to see her live once. What a privilege these judges of Norway have talent went through. Thank you, Angelina, for making my life sweeter. We all love you!

Angelina reminds me of a young female Elvis! The smokey eyes and velvet voice. A great career ahead!

This girl is nothing less than phenomenal. It's not just the age that makes people appreciate her. It's the voice and the soul she pours into her singing. The matter of age just makes her more amazing..but i reiterate that it all boils down to the voice and the feelings she put into it when she sings.

10 million hits on You Tube...she was (at that time) 8 years old. A super phenomenal singer is simply an understatement!

Please let no one ruin this girl. The famous world is so cruel, and I hope she stays this innocent despite it all.

Hey, no you cannot. Angelina won the Norwegians Got Talents contest with an overwhelming amount of the votes, at a whopping 46% of the votes. In recent years she did compete in the Americans Champions Got Talent, but I am not sure how she fared in that competition, although I do know she did not make it to the top five. She also released an album in recent times, which can be recommended, titled "Its Magic"

Dzięki niej odkrywam na nowo utwory, których dawno nie słuchałem,ponieważ kolejne aranżacjie nie wnosiły nic nowego. Angelina ma szansę stanąć w kanonie najwybitniejszych jazzowych wokalistek świata....Oby tak się stało.

She's amazing. And there's something about her that makes all of these old songs work. Normally a 6 of 7 year old looks funny singing songs like these but not her. She was born to it

Angelina... I don't know what to say. She's perfect. I reacted to this!

A little detail that I believe many wiewers/listeners have missed, is the incredible musical paranthesis she performs at 1:25 - 1:32. Unfortunately it is lost to many because she mixes the words in the sentence. The lyrics are: "He didn't even say goodbye" followed by "(he didn't take the time to lie)" She is singing: "(he didnt' take the lie to time)" which makes no sense and so the sarcasm is lost and the intention behind this outstanding (in two ways) musical line is lost as well. One of the reactors of this video even thought her to be out of breath here! She is never out of breath, but she is a norwegian speaking girl of 8 years performing adult lyrics in English. Listen to her again, put in the correct words in your mind and you will get a new spicy addition to this performance.

Fantastic perfomance! If you close your eyes and just listen to the voice, you would think it's an older person singing. When you open your eyes again, bang - you see a cute little girl aged 8... Amazing Control of her voice... that's what talent is all about!! If she doesn't win the competition, they may as well just put the show to sleep.

Angelina won the tonights, 23 of May, final in Norske Talenter (Norwegian Talents), and got the grand prize of 500000Nkr, just under 100000$! Not a suprise really to her fans, we knew a Star was born after hearing her sing for the first time. Congratulations, Angelina!

Have you remembered to activate the subtitles? There's a button in the bottom right corner called "Captions" which must be activated in orer to activate the subtitles.
