    Where did she bank that 1st 3-pointer? Either you need glasses or I do. It looked pure to me. Angel is gaining confidence. Most people don't know she was a guard in high school that was known for shooting 3's. She's just dredging up an old skill set. When she has total confidence to shoot it in a game situation she's going to be lights out. She hit a 16-foot jump shot as well. Carter is just unguadable. She makes everyone else look slow. She has the best mid-range game in the W hands down and can also score in the paint. When she evolves her game to shoot consistent 3-pointers she will become a full-blown superstar. Together they are lethal. When Reese develops that jumpshot it will open up the post for Cardosa, who is improving. When Williams gets back next year the Sky will have the most formidable front-line in the W. Add in a PG in the off-season and they go top-tier. The Sky is the limit.

Hot against LSU, had a good game against Colorado but mostly abandoned the 3. 18 points against SC in the 1st quarter, in the finals, then faded a bit. She has a handful of good shooting games in the W but has (smartly), shifted her focus to playmaking. I don’t know if anyone’s been paying attention to a comment angel makes very often. She wants to develop her shooting range to play more of the stretch four which will unclog the paint for 6’7” Cardoso. If the defense has to come out and guard both angel and Chen on the perimeter Cardoso will Feist down low with pick and rolls once she’s back to full strength from the shoulder injury. Things are coming together at the right time. Angel is getting that shot going. Brazil didn’t qualify for the Olympics, so Cardoso will get some much needed time to heal and be ready for the second half of the season and Chicago’s push for the playoffs.

    Being a legitimate 3 point threat is good, but I think Angel should focus more on the mid range shot which will keep her close to the rim for rebounds. Her rebounding kept them in many games. Her role pretty much needs to mirror what Aja does for the Aces. Aja kicks it out to Plum for those 3s and she pretty much remains mostly in the paint. Reese can hopefully mirror that with Marina. This can work if Marina can be more consistent in games. Carter is that chick on the court right now and Cardoso is unfortunately still work in progress. I’m giving her a slight pass due to her still being a Rookie and she’s back from an injury that could still be bothering her,we just don’t know it. Hopefully she can start looking like the #3 pick in the draft because the W doesn’t have roster spots for unproductive players like the NBA.🧐

    Just love watching Chennedy play (since the shove, she's done nothing but let her play do the talking for her), and Reese was on top of her game..Clark got me hooked into watching this league, and now I not only watch Indiana, I'm including Chicago. Though I'm a hardcore fan of Clark, I am leaning Reese for ROTY at this time..then again, if Clark breaks that triple double (unlikely) against NY today, whoaa!!

    i’ve seen reese hitting threes in practice like shooting ducks at a gallery. if she can start hitting them consistently in games, she could become one of the greats in today’s game but caitlin clark is on another level. cc is a transcendent player who is spearheading change in the women’s game. caitlin clark shoots and passes like an nba player, who shoots like steph curry and runs the offense like steve nash. once she develops a solid midrange game, she will literally be unstoppable. and we are witnessing it happen in real time

  • @timbabcock7645

    @timbabcock7645

    Curry had a midrange game and can shoot with either hand. He also has great handles. I'm not saying this as a hater, but CC put all her work into her logo 3's while neglecting working at 3's all along the arc(that's why I think she'll be a no-show at the 3-competition) and her midrange game. She's smart enough to see that now but It's going to take time. A month break isn't going to do it. An off-season will help but she's probably looking at 3-4 years to do it consistently. The difference with Reese is that she was being highly sought after in high-school as a guard and as a 3-point shooter. She's just rust and need to have the confidence. I think last night was the first step in that direction.

    As I predicted. Ya'll don't want to listen. You must change your game to complete with the women in the WNBA. They are the best women basketball players in the world. I don't care who you are,you not gonna come from college and dominate in you first season but if you change up your gane,you can become more competitive at least. Reese is doing what needs to be done. She got the respect up A'ja Wilson,who is the best basketball in the world. That's the respect you want. Reese is a rebounder and now she shootings 3's? Aja Wilson won against her but admitted Reese is coming. Reese confidence is to the roof now. Confidence comes first then your game involves. This what Clark must do. She must play like Chennedy Carter or at Kelsey Plum. That logo 3 stuff is for college. She has to move from that period.

    Robin, you are alright, but you are a down low hater when it comes to Angel. Angel is never a role player. Angel Reese broke the NCAA record in a single season with 34 double doubles. Her last two years in college, she average 23 points and 13 - 15 rebounds. My question to you is if she has a role player game, then why was she rank #2 coming out of high school, and your great white hype caitlin was #4?? Why did Angel always beat cailtin at Maryland when they played? Then beat her at LSU in the championship and won the Most outstanding player Award if she was a role player? Why caitlin always krack in the 4th quarter in the wnba from 1 defender sticking her, and Angel doesn't krack?? like I always said, Angel will win the ROTY by a LANDSLIDE
