So basically taking spurs from 4th to 4th because let's be honest, they never challenged City or Liverpool for the league and never once had a 20+ point gap on Arsenal like Arsenal have had on them the last 2 seasons. The only time they looked like winning the league was the season Leicester won it. No coincidence this happened when the other top 6 clubs were poor. Peak spurs could only challenge Leicester and pip poor Arsenal to 4th.

Love Ange but we need to sort those set pieces out and transitions but let’s not forget it’s his first season, it’s Arteta’s what 4th, 5th with his first few being very underwhelming. He’s also been allowed to spend a fortune, Ange hasn’t, Give it time we will keep improving.

Stop acting as though spurs were winning or doing anything other than pipping poor Arsenal to 4th in a so called golden era before starting again with Ange. Saliba, Gabriel and Rice have not been at Arsenal for 4/5 seasons like you claim, you forget about Mustafi and Holding? Arteta despite that rubbish defence won a trophy in his first season as a manager and had to clear out a lot of deadwood. Ange failed to win a trophy in his first season despite the manegerial experience he has on Arteta. Also only picked up 1 point vs Arteta's 4.

at home, near on full strength, well rested, big incentive to stop a rival winning. arsenal tactically played deep which allowed tottenham to have posession. its called having a second tactic. it worked. youre not in control when you arent winning.

you and us cannot compete in the UCL under any plan. difference is 5 trophies in 2 seasons for us domestically, 1 for you 🤫.

We allowed them to have the ball in areas where they couldn’t hurt us and then clinically punished them in the first half. It’s called being a team that can play in multiple ways rather than just high line and vibes mate.

the one where Spurs had double the xG that Arsenal had & dominated possession. Ref didn't give Spurs a pen, which was made worse when Arsenal then scored. Ref allowed Arsenal to score 2 goals from corners where the GK was clearly obstructed. Fine margins were the difference.

@@dutchgrass The ref didn't give Spurs a pen because it WASN'T a pen. And as for the two corners, Vicario showed how weak he is from set pieces. White just stood his ground and Vicario allowed him to do it. It took for Spurs to be three-nil down for Ange to work out that his keeper needed help from those situations, and THEN put a defender in between White and Vicario. Too little, too late. For all Spurs' dominance, they didn't have a shot on target until Raya gifted them a goal.

@@HearszAM you forgot the son chance in the 1st half. Also while it wasn't on goal, Romero hit the post and just missed the goal with 2 headers in the 1st half. Also for the 2 corner goals, they didn't stand their ground, but you are letting your club allegiances stop you from admitting it. I do agree Ange should have done something to address that tactic before the game started. End of the day it was a close game, a draw was probably the deserved result but Arsenal got the 3 points so they don't care.

You can keep the ball mate, we will take the 3 points.

You definitely need to look into defending corners. Everyone holds their breath when we give a corner kick away.

He was right. At half time it was a fair reflection of the performance being 3-0 down. Obviously can only blame ourselves and for that reason deserved to lose but doenst mean Ange was wrong as we were in more control just didn't do enough with it

Ange’s job was to play attacking football, respond to losing our talisman and improve on last season. He has done that and I can’t think of anyone else I would want to lead us forward. Klopp, Arteta and Pep needed development years. End of next season will be a true judge of his tenure.

How did Arteta do in his first season?

Tottenham were always going to be up for this game but then lose their next game easily, that's Tottenham... But today we got what we needed and that's 3 points... No amount of ball possession matters now after we won...

spurs is a successful manager in smaller leagues even competitive leagues but yet again still smaller he should never of went to a team like spurs, spurs is a team that should be having success one way or an other with the money it makes he should of went for a mid table team to have time to study the league and settle in his one sided football doesn’t work in a big league like the epl it needs to be consistently changed and challenged it’s not dundee united your playing against no disrespect against them but the money that spurs has is far different game to up there i wish him the best and for a further move to a club he can do something in them work his way up to the top 5 which i feel he can do with more experience but rn like most managers that come from the old firm derby he won’t go far unless he has at least 2 to 3 seasons which is a big chance for him which i don’t think spurs fans can wait for that tbh but that’s up to the support and board to decide how stuff goes

Spurs were the better team ''in between'' the boxes, but the side that wins the game is always the team who was better ''inside'' both boxes - Arsenal were much more clinical with their chances and defended their own box brilliantly.

Thoughts.. I see this as a game with marginal moments. Holberg own goal, in a marginally wrong place. Van de Ven goal was razor thin decision Saka’s goal should have been chalked, and a penalty given for the foul on Kulu Romero could and arguably should have scored at the back post. Now one thing is as clear as day, Tottenham’s defensive set up and execution of set pieces is abysmal(needs real work) Son should have scored On another day Tottenham could have easily won this game. Just my thoughts.
