He's basically saying that consumers shouldn't be blamed for the mistakes of corporations. Reagan was in favor of a political ideology which posited that consumers are ultimately the ones responsible for the actions of corporations. It's connected to objectivism.

Dude people that age are so blatantly jealous of anyone younger than them that have decent lives. They hate anything that makes them realize how much they’ve wasted their lives. I remember even my father was going on a tangent one day about how awful everyone my age is and how millennials are ruining the planet, and I rebutted with “you just hate that it’s not about your generation anymore and that you won’t get another chance to be in the limelight” or something like that and he just dropped me off in the middle of nowhere. We’ve gotten into fist fights n shit before but I’ve never seen anything strike a nerve with him like that before. That’s when I started to realize what I said was truer than I ever expected

How sad. My estimation is that he can't comprehend how someone who has honed his style and physique can't make friends with people, and then some fat guy who doesn't even take himself seriously walks up with a crowd of followers. So, basically Squidward, if you think about it.

Slippy I don't think that makes you a loser. I mean I personally don't watch streamers, but if you're entertained by the commentary they give and discussions they have in the chats then there's nothing wrong with that. This Milonakis guy is a comedian, so many of the people who watch his streams are probably fans of his content and shows as well. If an athlete or actor I liked started making streams I'd probably watch them too tbh.

People like this are so fucking isolated from what the internet has done to society, let alone individuals who are impacted by it career wise.

The thing is being cynical doesn't make you realistic. I'm quite cynical too but I can still understand why things are the way they are.
