Androgynous Techwear

I wanted to explore the idea that techwear can be a good style to have and maintain androgyny in. Let me know what you think about the topic in the comments below.

I have a few womens acg pants and they fit more or less the same as mens. also looking at acr videos, the girl featured is wearing the same as the guys and pulls it off just as well.

I agree with you 100%. When you can tailor your own clothes it’s also a plus. I think it’s easier to buy it in the thrift cuz you can try it on oppose to when you buy on line. This is also goes for gym wear. For some reason women’s clothes at the thrift is cheaper then men’s

Most androgynous techwear are just baggy clothes. If you are a man that wants fitted clothes right off of the women’s rack, you need to either have very specific body types or the clothes need to be very stretchy. Personally I’m 6’2” 188lb with broad shoulders and an athletic build, so I prefer a more fitted look that contours my body. I don’t see myself fitting into most women’s clothes without looking ridiculous.

Oversize then tailor to make it fit better. I find silhouettes from women's clothes to be more interesting and that is the technique I use.

i wouldn't even be able to tell those few fits of yours are womens clothes, because they suit you so well. also thats cool that your nails fit your outfits.

How is the fit of womens clothing for men? What are your experience with crotch and bust measurements? I once tried a few womens pants to get a specific pair of chinos in a lokal store but they were all to tight in my crotch area. Skirts are a thing i want to try. There are rain skirts in the hier scene and I think this is a really nice idea if you don't want to wear knee length parkas but jackets that are cut to hip height. Ponchos + scarves + wide cut tops + shoes are androgynous as well. The main problem I see is that the men's clothing often doesn't really fit men and women's clothing doesn't really fit women ... the whole a size fits most thing. Clothes made to measure or bespoke are obviously an option as well. Can you still call it men's or women's wear when it's bespoke?

I am a non-binary individual who has been getting into techwear recently. You keep saying opposite sex, but I find that this term is pretty outdated. I really like how you want people to open their minds and not let gender labels define what they wear.

true I always forget to tag because I mostly get pics from google images not straight from insta or something. Also, I have my nails painted in a lot of my videos I like them painted because of the look also it helps me not bite my nails.
