Andrew Kibe and Khalif Kairo have responded to Francis Gaitho's claim that they are on the government's payroll. In a recent tweet, Francis Gaitho listed several individuals, including Hanifa, Boniface Mwangi, Kimuzi, Andrew Kibe, Larry Madowo, and Khalif Kairo, alleging they are being paid by the government. Andrew Kibe strongly refuted this, highlighting that the people named have been outspoken against the government. He urged Gen Z not to believe everything they hear, warning that there are individuals spreading misinformation to disrupt the Gen Z protests.
Khalif Kairo also questioned Francis Gaitho's remarks, pointing out that Gaitho himself was not seen participating in the protests. Dead in Khalif saying he’s treating the use I had always looked up to him like a good leader, he replied into my Instagram and said that I am the betrayer I should come and match with them, if you look in most of my comments I have said I stand with the young people. I stand for peaceful demonstration, and encourage them to do peaceful and they should be careful for them not to be caught on crossfire.
