Andretti Indoor Karting San Antonio - Junior Track

Tried out the junior track (Track 1) at the San Antonio location of Andretti Indoor Karting & Games. This track is a bit nicer because there is more room to pass and it is technical, but not so technical that novices wipe out all the time. The karts also go faster on this track and can hit their top speed. I was a tenth off of the record with a 27.135.

27 SECONDS?! The staff lied to me, they said the record was a 35 something at track one, then again idk if they just updated the record to what the current intermediate/adult karts can run now cause if im correct the karts were faster at the time of this video right?

Yes, the karts were much faster back when this video was taken. 35 is probably a pretty quick time now, but I'm not sure. To be fair, most of the staff doesn't really know about how fast the karts used to be. They didn't believe my record on track 2 until I showed them the video.

What is the age of the Junior track? My son is 56" tall and 12 and has a lot of outdoor kart racing under his belt.

you have to at least have a permit or a license

it says at least 54" tall and minimum age is 12 so hes good to go imo, im going here in like a week im pumped

@@ItzAl3x745 we've been a few times and my two boys and I have some pretty fast times, just not the lap record yet. Lol. Eventually we will when there are not others on the track being idiots and doing everything you are not suppose to do. This is not a learner track and should be driven on by experienced drivers who know how to listen, understand and follow the simple rules. 98% of the people that run on these indoor tracks haven't got a clue about kart racing and care less about what you are trying to accomplish time wise.
