When the real world seems to be covered in darkness, I feel like a ray of light ✴ shining into my heart and being given just a bit of courage to go forward on listening to “ Amazing Grace” 💕

On listening to Amazing Grace I find myself like being drawn into an another world where “ purity and peace of mind ” are melted into an eternally crystallized one.

"Was blind but now I see" This last sentence of the song is rather meaningful and touch when it performed by Andrea Bocelli who is blind.

Mandy Côté Well he is a practicing Catholic and so I would say he was spiritually born again because we have received baptism. His mother absolutely refused to have an abortion with him being in her womb. She was very much encouraged to abort him. So I think that’s very profound. Just to see and hear him sing even though he is blind.

I cry every single time I watch this. Andrea Bocelli singing Amazing Grace while the images of empty cities all around the world is so very powerful and moving and emotional. Simply beautiful.

I love this I’m Italian American and I love this because it’s so cool

I saw this live and remember how scared I was seeing NYC empty. Then the camera panned back and there stood Andrea Bocheli, sharing his beautiful voice. A beacon of light sounding out the message of love to the world in our darkest days. I won't remember alot of things but I won't forget that Easter morning. I've been back every Easter since and hope I'm able to continue coming back to hear this again. Please don't ever remove this vid and TYSM to the OP for sharing it and the most gratitude to Mr Bochelli for singing. 🙏

Josh There is such a thing as too thin. I have Crohn’s Disease & when I was sickest I lost a lot of weight. People thought it was wonderful that I had lost weight wanted to know what I’d done. I was brutally honest, I got diagnosed with a chronic illness that prevents me from absorbing my food & causes me pain and weight loss. They got embarrassed but people have to realize that sometimes people losing weight isn’t for the right reasons.

For Gondor! And this man is amazing....so much talent! All genre is amazing in this vanilla world. Really loved to hear this song..when I needed my 4 Angel's from wherever they are ..are always held so close in my heart..losing my dad at 21..my paternal grandmother 6 months before my dad, my maternal grandmother in 2018 and my grandfather last year..during the biggest mess of my life I've been through..I cannot be more grateful for music..when even trying to want to pick up my artwork again..to create and craft ..is so hard. But that's why music exists..we all go through our own demons. We have to acknowledge and face that without them we lose our Angel's. We all have a balance inside us..it's not a choice. We get angry ..we say bad things..but to hurt someone physically..or want to keep ourselves negative..that's our darkness..we need to feed on our balance..good days..bad days..no grey area. Those who by CHOICE stay to be in a dark area and live like that..is not on us..but them. WE CHOOSE who we want to be..but knowing a right time and place. Also some people are really born with severe mental illness and medications are truly needed to set the serotonin chemical imbalances right. But nothing that will cause an addiction..by a Dr. Unfortunately that's where alot of problems lie. 😥🥰 😉

He was assasinated by a fanatic while he was walking through the people. Watch the movie Ghandi with Ben Kingsley. He was a lawyer but more importantly, he was deeply religious. The Apostle Paul said in Romans 1:16 "For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believes; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek". This praise resounds throughout the earth: "Jesus Christ is Lord and God. Only He saves". He testified: ''I and my Father are One" John 10:30 2 Samuel chapter 22:verse 50 "Therefore I will praise you, O Lord, out of the countries, and I will praise your name." JESUS SAVES God the Son (Jesus Christ) has given us the gospel to share with the world. Mark 16:15: "And He said unto them, Go into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature." How can we hear it? Scripture tells us. Romans 10:17 "Then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God." (We receive the "word" in many ways. The "Word" is Jesus Christ!); John 1:1-5. God the Holy Spirit teaches through the Word of God in the Bible. The Birth of Jesus Christ Isaiah 7: 14: "Therefore the LORD shall give you a sign; behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and call His name Immanuel." Hebrew: עִמָּנוּאֵל, "God with us" in human flesh but without sin. The Savior of the world was born to die for our sins! He did so 33 years later. His terrible ordeal; body mutilated; blood poured out, finally died (John 19:30; Luke 23:46 ) and was placed in a tomb and rose from the dead the 3rd day ! "HE IS RISEN" Matthew 28: 6. Isaiah 53:" 5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. 6 All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the Lord hath laid on him the iniquity of us all." - IT IS FOUNDED UPON GOD'S LOVE FOR MAN AND WOMAN HE CREATED John 3:16 "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God." Romans 3: 23 " For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." Romans 6:23 "1 Corinthians 15: 3 "For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:" THE PAYMENT BY HIS BLOOD FOR ALL SINS EVER! Romans 5:8 " But God demonstrates his love for us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. 9 Much more then, now justified by his blood, we will be saved from wrath through him." “For he (God) hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.” 2 Corinthians 5:21. " In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;." Ephesians 1:7; 1 Peter 1:18-19. Matthew 26: 28 "For this is my blood of the New Testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins." (the life is in the blood. He had to pay with His life) "And according to the Law, one may almost say, all things are cleansed with blood, and without shedding of blood there is no forgiveness." Hebrews 9:22 BY GOD'S GRACE ALONE THROUGH FAITH ALONE IN JESUS CHRIST ARE WE SAVED Ephesians 2:8 "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 not of works, lest any man should boast." Jesus died and paid the penalty for our sins to rescue us from eternal death. He died on our behalf. We believe in Him, trusting His death and shedding His blood as payment for ALL our sins and His burial and resurrection from the dead the third day! John 20:24-31; 1 Corinthians 15: 3-4 above. WHOSOEVER BELIEVES SHALL TESTIFY TO THE TRUTH Romans 10: 9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.13 For “whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved. TO DIE IS TO REJECT SALVATION IN JESUS CHRIST AND BE SEPARATE FROM GOD FOREVERMORE Salvation and forgiveness of sins is the blessing of anyone who believes in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. We receive the baptism of God the Holy Spirit immediately which seals us in Christ and that is permanent! Ephesians 1:13-14. Those who reject the free gift of salvation, see John 3:16 above, "perish", which means their sins are judged by God the Son and they suffer eternal separation from God and the family of God forever called the "second death". Revelation 21:8. "Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ." Romans 5: 1

My children surprised me with tickets to see him at the Hollywood Bowl. He was amazing! This performance of Amazing Grace was so heartfelt in these trying times. Thank you Andrea

I, too, first saw this in April 2020, on that Easter Day, and the empltiness of those international cities landmarks brought tears to my eyes. Three years later, September 2023, it still does. Now, more than ever, the line 'was blind but now I see' has so much meaning behind it for those who can see the wickedness being orchestrated.

I watched this when it came out in 2020 and it was filmed almost exactly a year after I was in Italy...in Milan. It still all seems surreal.

This was so beautiful, it made me cry. And seeing such empty streets all over the world shows us that we're all in this fight together.

When I went to Milan, everywhere was full of people.It's kinda sad that the places I went are empty now. Thank you for this performance Mr. Bocelli. Much love and respect from Turkey! 🇹🇷 💓

actually the city is more beautiful than the hordes of people there , someone should have taken a tour of that beautiful city while empty and also rome.

Amazing Grace is Andrea's voice. It's magical. He is so beautiful. His eyes are beautiful though closed with those lovely long dark eyelashes. Thank you Andrea, you are a beautiful person inside and out.

Such a healing power when he smiled when singing the last line .....was blind, but now I see. I was moved to tears. As it turned out that he just recovered from Covid-19 not long ago before this performance. He is such a precious gift for the Italians.

Even today I still get emotional and cry for the world! His voice is other worldly it's not of this earthly plane. I couldn't thank Andrea Bocelli enough for all the Beauty he has brought to all of mankind. Just remarkable!!!

Beautiful man, beautiful song. So moving. God blessed him to sing the appropriate song for a sad and downtrodden world. God is the only one to deliver and save this pitiful world. Help us Lord please.

Knowing about his condition when he sang "Was blind but now I see" almost moved me to tears, because it made me realize what that line actually means, just because you can physically see doesn't mean you can "see", many of us are confused, filled with hate and misery, we don't see the truth, in the world and in ourselves. I have sometimes inspirationally experienced that Amazing Grace’s melody sounds like voices from above the heaven.

I love it when Andrea (a christian believer) sings: "I was blind and now I see!" And that's the truth! You need Jesus that you can see the truth! You have to be saved! You need a savior: Jesus Christ is our Lord and savior! He will give you eternal life! And you will never die in eternity! ❤🙏

Thank you for singing this, and may we walk by Faith, not by sight. We have nothing to fear, God is with us.

This moment of pause we have right now, this moment where we are being forced to experience emotions and feelings like fear, uncertainty, chaos, sadness and loss is overwhelming. Out of this fear and panic we are experiencing comes a voice that I can only describe as a warm blanket wrapped around me, comforting me and saying “peace is all around you. For anyone that doesn't understand the vastly empty cities for this song, this was the height of the COVID pandemic. Everyone during this time was in fear and uncertain of what the future was to offer. I remember living with my grandparents during this time completely fearful of what the next day has to offer.

We are saved by our Lord Jesus Christ's Amazing Grace. Thank you Andrea a wonderful rendition of this wonderful hymn. God Bless you ❤🙏

I saw this on Sunday and it brought tears to my eyes. Today's was just as good. To me the screen shot of the Soccer field in San Paolo, Brasil turned into a hospital was the most prominent. Stay safe and this too, we shall overcome. Peace to those that lost loved ones. And a BIG THANK YOU to the all the Medical Staff, Assistants and First Responders.
