Simple. Emptional payoff. Even well respected, well versed, and talented story tellers can falter at this defining moment. If done well, even subpar stories can become classics. If done poorly, something that is on the way of being a modern epic can be forgotten.

@@Loki.Lyesmyth I concur... the two biggiest story arcs are those two for sure, with the Entire first 3 sagas of the MCU being centralized to Tony, and the honestly Loki being a big part of some of that(and a big catalyst to even some of Thor's growth), while also going on his own separate journey throughout the show. I am not the greatest fan of the MCU after the infinity Saga(mostly only watched the Spiderman, Doctor Strange, and a few of the shows... still haven't watched anything else), but the Loki show has the be the best thing to come out of post-infinity war MCU content(it even compares to the best moments before that saga ended). I wish we get some sort of projected Loki talking to Thor, in some way, simular to this vid(I might just watch that scene, even if I don't watch the movie it may be in).

After watching season two of Loki, I am saddened to say that this may never happen

I have no problem with Captain Marvel and Monica Rambeau reuniting - it was a worthwhile element of an OK movie, in my opinion - but I would definitely give a Loki/Thor reunion a much higher priority! Not even on the same chart!

Luckily, Marvel did state that in "Avengers: Kang Dynasty", or something along those lines, Loki would reappear, and I do believe that this probably means that Thor and his brother would finally see the sun rise upon them again.

We deserve an offical Loki and Thor moment like this in the MCU... Thor and Loki deserve it too...

Thor would be so proud of Loki. To see what his little brother has become.

Season 2 should end with Loki going to thor on the timeline and going “Brother” and then they have a little emotional moment and Loki goes “We need your help” and sylvie and stuff come out and then it’s like “somethings coming, a war to end existence”

This…breaks my heart. I need to see a reunion between these two. See Thor and TVA Loki meet, see Thor get upset that Loki once again pretended to die, only to come back, but then to have TVA Loki tell him that he is dead. He’s a different Loki, from a different time. And even see him apologize for everything Thor’s Loki did. And seeing Thor’s new daughter meet her Uncle would be adorable.

If Avengers Secret Wars ends with Thor and Loki watching the sun shining on them, that would be the best f***ing ending ever.

My eyes are just watering. I wish it happened so much. You depicted Thors emotions so good.

It's almost as if Disney(mostly today's Disney) has this annoying mentality that it's somehow bad for younger people/kids to watch movies or TV shows that have heavy emotions when in reality... it's NOT bad and dare I say this, it has always been important for kids to know and learn about emotional moments or mature themes like dysfunctional relationships/friendships, bullying, depression, suicide, and more. Disney is literally overlysensitive and is such a bad company to work with.

Phase4 was so poorly written and executed, that they killed every fandom they spawned with Phases 1-3. And that was a pretty steep challenge.

I've pretty much left the MCU after Endgame. It's sad that so far there has been no such closure for Thor and the majority of movies afterward have been trainwrecks. And it makes me even more sad that THIS COMIC does everything I wish the MCU would do for Thor! The guy has been thru so much and what he needs more than anything is his brother back. He and Loki need to reunite and heal from everything that has happened between them. Loki NEEDS to return to Thor and tell him that everything is alright and that he is not alone anymore.

This is the first time we see Thor shine in the light he’s suppose to. Watiti made WAY too many jokes with the 4th Thor movie. This was a god that had EVERYTHING. And he lost it his mom, his dad, his best friends, his home, his people (twice cause his sister and Thanos), his mentor, his brother, and his love interest. Yet he’s prancing around like nothing happened.

I need Loki to come back to the main mcu universe and show Thor he is still alive.

“So…what happened Loki?” “I…. Uhh… turned into Yggdrasil.” *Thor punted*

This should have been the ending of loki season 2 fr.. as he said "The last thing i want is a throne.."

Aww man, Loki would make a great Uncle.

With s2 and what we know Loki can do now and what he did for a very very long time while trying to fix everything, I bet my ass that he at some point did just that. Thor may not remember it, but loki does.

I wish this had happened in the last ep of Loki before he returned to be the loom

We need to see them together, even if for a brief moment.

I came to say imagine if marvel had any character depth what so ever. Scenes like this are way more impactful than another mf action sequence. This is love and hate and regret, pain, sadness, happiness. A complete roller coaster for an already lost superhero. Perhaps a catalyst to return the god of thunder to his previous self. These real human emotions are what engage the masses. Writing isn’t hard. But you need to write as a human. Not a robot. Cinema is a lost art and it’s a shame, a damn shame.

This makes me so sad considering what we saw at the finale of Loki Season 2...

I feel that after season 2, thor would break down openly weeping in pride of how much loki has grown

Yeah I need to see a reunion. Also Loki is a uncle now!

Now that they have established Loki (the Goat) as the God of stories. They should make a short snippet kinda like one time episode (something like I am Groot on Disney+) where he just visits Odin, Frigga (like thor in endgame - a closure with his mother which he still hasn’t gotten and the fact the her death still haunts him) and of course Thor (in a timeline before Love and thunder which might pave way for thor to look after himself like he did in the movie or just ignore the disaster). And Loki could be able to tell them about his one real Glorious Purpose and they all telling him how proud they are for his ultimate sacrifice, and Loki just relishing all that love and praise he always longed for. Or they could just all meet in Loki’s tree of life throne room and Thor introducing his adopted daughter to all and Loki just adoring her as loving uncle!!!! Ahhh! That would the greatest MCU reunion and closure at the same time for such beloved characters.

I’m currently hoping that this is the final scene of Loki Season 2

I was sort of hoping for a scene sort of like this with thor in the season 2 finale of loki.

Loki season 1 was 2 years ago, damn time flies fast.

This is really special. Not only does it fit both characters so well, but the music and dialogue helps to make it so emotional. I cried seeing this.

What I wanted to happen in the final episode: What happened: Loki was left completely alone at the end of time to save the multiverse and his friends (this was painful to see)
