That happened to me once, in World of Warcraft. I logged into my character, and within a couple seconds, someone dropped out of the sky and died on impact, right next to me.

I miss the matrial arts aspect of Dr Strange. It's fun to see him bend reality with a wave of his hand, but this was so much more distinct

​@@marcelbenner993you dont know how powerful the ancient one was, she wasn't expecting that kaecillius would stab her through his ally, he sacrificed his ally's life just to kill the ancient one, and the ancient one dying is actually an absolute point in the timeline, she was really meant to die in that exact time. she said that she cant see through the future after her death, the only thing she knew is that Dr. Strange will replace her

He was a Refn regular in Pusher, Valhalla Rising and others. Also, his performance in The Hunt (2012) remains as one of my favorites of the decade. The mere fact that he keeps only being associated with this film and Hannibal is beyond painful.

Nah that's his own sling ring. Don't forget that he once trained in Kamar-Taj too. He uses the sling ring to open a portal to throw the Ancient One's body through, knowing that the fall will kill her.

I wanted her to live too but the way marvel chose to set story was where if she were to stay alive Doormamu would have did the same thing to her that he did to Kaecilius in the end of movie before Sanctum were restored and doctor strange showed up to continue her work on her behalf when her time was up, she accepted that she has finshed her purpose. That's my guess of marvel view.

Watch again closely - you'll see that Kaecilius stabs straight through his disciple and the Ancient One gets skewered by the blade that is sticking through the disciples body. He was happy to kill his disciple just to get to the Ancient One, showing that he doesn't actually give a damn about them in spite of his fine words. The Ancient One, of course, would never dream of killing her disciples (Dr Strange and Mordo) and so it never occurred to her that he would do that.

Same thoughts. But after watching endgame, I think she probably allowed it to happen. If she didn't die Strange wouldn't be the Sorcerer Supreme, which could domino into Thanos ruling the entire universe.
