The city of #Anchorage lies in Alaska’s mountainous south and is home to around 40 percent of all Alaskans. At the height of summer, Anchorage basks in 22 hours of sunlight, with the sun barely dipping below the horizon, making it an excellent #vacation destination for those looking to pack a lot into their trip.

I am so excited this is the first video of your channel thanks for all of this.
I grew up in Mountain View (ghetto), Anchorage during the crack epidemic, so this is like looking at a whole different city.
Hubbs an I went for our 20th wedding anniversary. It’s all you see and more! We did a self driving “ tour”. Flew into Anchorage and spent the night. Got up and drove around Anchorage and saw a Moose right off the road near Earthquake park. It was a fantastic trip. We spent the first night in Anchorage, 2 nights in Seward the back to Anchorage for a night. Next day we drove to Denali and spent 2 nights there and then back to Anchorage for one more night before we flew home. We were blessed with excellent weather. No rain, no mosquitoes and Denali was perfectly clear. Not a cloud in the sky.Everyone was so kind and friendly. We flew in the week after Memorial Day. Going back next year. 😎💕

Eric Glueckert I agree there is too many people. Washington, and Oregon are also beautiful! Another example would be Scotland, and Wales are more beautiful than England, because they have less people.

Andrea Ruiz it’s gonna be cold but it’s one of the only states that of which you can watch the breathtaking Northern Lights and watch em dance in the sky so so beautiful.
I felt like there wasn't enough of Anchorage shown but mostly the surrounding area instead, I wouldn't mind if this video went on for 12 minutes or so.

@@jeannydaniel2022 He meant that the first few minutes were about Anchorage, but then there's nothing interesting about Anchorage, so the announcer had to go an hour away to Girdwood, then two hours away to Seward!

Headed to anchorage for seismic in 2 days. 1st time ever traveling outside the local states. Seismic is a lot of walking and hiking so can’t wait to explore what alaska has to offer!
This is the first time i heard of this place before. Now i wanna book a flight now.
Watching this video, my mouth was full of words like "wow, haaah, oooh, my god, good lord, yeah and last hmmm" because I am not there and it will take decades for me to visit Alaska.😍😍😍

Hey, it's my home state! I moved out last year and miss the beautiful scenery very much. I don't miss Anchorage so much as the other parts of the state, but I definitely will be visiting every year.

Anchorage seems like it gets a bad wrap but it can not be worse than some of the larger cities in California like Modesto or Stockton. I’ve lived in CA my entire 26 years of life and from what I’ve seen, Anchorage looks like an oasis compared to the cesspool that is CA.

@@CarRamRod1995 I can agree with that. But for me, Anchorage used to be so much better. 15-20 years ago it was actually a great place to live, and you knew which areas to avoid. Now it’s either be rich and live on the Hillside or you’re just asking to be robbed, carjacked, or even shot.
