@Suzey C its awesome living here! The weather has been strange and tumultuous this year but that is mountain life tho, isn't it!
Visited there in 2001 and 2015 from the UK. My most favourite place in the world! Can’t wait to visit again…
My wife and I were married 30 years ago in the Giant Forest, and we were just there this past weekend. I'm still in awe and wonder of this place, and always will be.
The US is such an amazing country 🇺🇲 I've been to here, Yosemite and Grand Canyon. Looking forward to visiting Yellowstone
i will visit California this fall 2022 first time ever, and I am going to visit this park and also Yosemite. it is a dream that is going to be real soon.
Took my first trip to California last year. I didn't make it to Sequoia but I did camp in Prairie Creek Redwoods State Park. I dreamed about seeing the Giant Redwoods since I was a kid and let me say they exceeded everything I imagined. The narrator was correct, there are no pictures or words to do it justice. California is an amazing place.

Visited California two summers ago from my city of Amsterdam ('19) and man did a dream come true. I loved it and my experience was so much better thanks to you expedia

I grew up going to Sequoia and Kings Canyon NP almost yearly. They are 2 of the most amazing places in the world. You have to see it for yourself to truly understand. Please stay on the boardwalks and trails. Keep it beautiful for others to enjoy! Hope you all make it someday!!
I've been to Yosemite Park more than 5 times but never been to Sequoia National Park! It's time to go see this park on my next outing!
First time i felt so awe seeing the gigantic trees in tavel videos.. i wanna hug these sequoia trees in real..they have foot like elephants ..wow..so stunned.
I practically had to drag my family to sequoia years ago. since that experience they all felt In love and now they make me take them every year sometimes twice a year since both the snow and summer times have beautiful differences. This it truly a magical place. Thankfully I’m only 5hr drive away from this beautiful place. If visiting please make sure all roads are open and make sure you have the proper chains if driving during a snowfall. Try to avoid holidays and weekends if possible to better enjoy the day. Hopefully everyone gets to enjoy this place at least once.

What month do you recommend to go when it's nice weather and not full of tourists?

@@statikx1 The month of.JUNE. MAYBE SEPTEMBER, or OCTOBER.
@oldblood_eyes

@@statikx1 as a californian, who lives 2 hrs away from this park, it complicated but for sure, avoid summer time. summer will have the best weather up where the sequoia trees are at but not towards the bottom around foothills, it gets super hot in the valley. early fall time like september or october is the best time to avoid the tourists and have nice weather but the main con about it is that it's fall time so there will be a lack of GREEN. everything at lower elevation will be dried out but at least the sequoia forest will still be nice green forest thanks to high elevation but not at its best like spring time. i usually recommend late spring time. you will get great weather, everything is green but there can be a decent crowd. just be weary of weather. one time i went in MAY and it snowed!!! so like i said its complicated.. safest bet would be april-may.. going in fall can be 50-50 sometimes because parks can close quicker if there is/was a forest fire nearby from summer time..
I grew up here. Now I live on the other side of the country. Nothing compares to the Sierras.

I don't believe the narrator used an exclamation after "our own." But our story goes back before these tress so how is it far greater than ours?

Just go!! I’m currently on a 3 month road trip visiting about 25 national parks and national monuments. Next week I’ll be spending 5-6 days visiting Sequoia, Kings Canyon, and Yosemite. I’ve already seen them several times but each visit is a new adventure. While in Zion last week, I stayed in Kanab, Utah. Two employees at my hotel had never been to the Grand Canyon even though Kanab is less than a two hour drive to the north rim!! Living so close to such magnificent natural beauty and not making every effort to see it is beyond my comprehension. If you visit those California parks in October or early November before the snow comes, the crowds are sparse and lodging is a fraction of the high season prices. Again, just go!! Cheers and safe travels.

I LOVE visiting Sequoia and Kings Canyon! We usually stay in Visalia and spend one day at Sequoia and the next at Kings Canyon. The last time we stayed we booked a new boutique hotel in town, The Darling! WE LOVED IT! I can't wait to make the whole trip again.

I went to Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks in July 2012. I first visited Kings Canyon, stayed there for 2 days. While there, I explored trails and did horseback riding. The next 3 days, I explored more trails, took a guided tour of the park, and explored Crystal Cave before heading home. To say that Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks are beautiful is a big understatement! I am glad you got to enjoy the parks 😀.

The entire Sierra Nevada is beautiful, majestic, and jaw-dropping, Sequoia/Kings Canyon is just a small sample. If you want to see the Sequoias, and want to avoid crowds entirely, find some cool, off-the-beaten-path groves outside of the parks. You'd have to do your own research to find them, but it's worth it

Hello Lu! I am planning to go to this park for the first time layet this week. I wqs wondering if you could advise me on any trails to trek for a first timer. I am interested in seeing snow and hike through it or if you could tell me where I could find more information. Thank you!

@@diegoarias2766 Yo! im afraid I can advise you about any trails to trek as I and my family didn't try to hike because we had limited time to spend, but we would have hiked the Morro Rock if we had ample time. We drove up to general Sherman tree and the road was icy as it is common during winter and spring so don't forget to bring chains for your tires as it is required before you enter the park. If you're not aware there is a park's website you can visit and Im pretty sure you can find the things-to-do and maps. I hoped I helped you. and sorry for my english.
