I always have a huge respect for players and coaches that try to learn the language in the country they are playing or coaching. Sadly most of the players and coaches keep talking in english and don't give a damn crap about learning the language of the country. Even if it is a bit broken but I am quite impressed of how fast Ancelotti learned to speak some german.

I read Ancelotti's autobiography and he mostly wants to learn the languages out of respect for the country he works in. I totally agree with that. Even when he was at PSG he tried to learn french and told many of the new players that they should learn french as well.

@@LordAC13 french is a differint situation, cuz people in france wont speak english to you even if they can speak english. Germany was like that too, but they modernitized over the past 20 years. Netherlands and scandinavia is the paradise for english speakers

+Maurício Rodrigues it was a massive mistake. ancelotti had no modric and basically no holding midfielder last season and had a million injuries. I remember the first 2-3 months of the season when Madrid look absolutely unbeatable and were on a 22 game unbeaten streak. he made James Rodriguez look good too. zidane is great but he clearly is using ancelottis methods

it always blows my mind, when those coaches step into a press conference get asked in any possible language and then answer in it. seems to be a very intelligent man, the perfect fit for Bayern. prefer him alot more compared to Guardiola, a son of the Sacchi era, way more vertical, way more efficient and way more pace in his style of football. that's why i think he will match up perfectly with the Bundesliga and he will be an enrichment for the whole league for sure.

Yup, I agree with you. I also know how to speak spanish. It makes it easier for me to understand Italian and French because of some similarities. On speaking, I am not that expert in french though. Haha. Italian is easier.

It is funny how Italians speak English. They do that correct but with strong accent and often Italian endings.

I knew that he wouldn’t last long at Bayern Munich. You can feel almost immediately if a coach develops a connection with the club or not. Ancelotti never warmed to Bayern and the fans also didn’t like him.

Swiss player Dzemaili speaks seven languages too: Albanian, Macedonian, Serbo-croatian, Italian, German, English and Turkish. He speaks Italian much better than many natives.
