Hello people! I know you're not here for me, you are here to see football players speaking various languages and there are like millions of these kinds of videos out there on KZread but I still want to thank you for over 1 million views and over 1000 subscribers! Regarding certain comments, I know that the definition of the term "polyglot" is pretty debatable and as a non-native English speaker I have always thought the term meant a person who can speak 4+ languages. Seems like polyglot actually means you can speak 5+ languages, so sorry if the title of the video is misleading or something. Also, I know that some of these players aren't very fluent in certain languages shown in the video, some speak in very basic sentences but for me it's not a big deal. Lastly, as I said at the beginning of this video, I haven't made a single penny from this video even if I technically could since there have been no copyright strikes. I don't own any material shown in this video and I didn't upload this to make money. Monetizing this video would actually be illegal. I simply wanted people to see that these players can speak these languages, some more fluently, some less fluently. Thank you all :)

@Jason J I think it's not a real "Turkish accent". He speaks German like every native, simply because he is a native. Each of us has a slang. Ozil's slang is the one spoken among the Turkish Community in Germany. Maybe he's too lazy to switch to a "standard German" when he's on TV. Nevertheless, he's a native German speaker like all Germans.

Ozil was born and raised in Gelsenkirchen, where the accent is really heavy. His Turkish is what is called "provinceless" Turkish, typical of Turks who don't come from Turkey and have no personal links to any province or vilyayet.

While he speaks German, he throws in the word 'belangreich'...my first thought: He was thinking that there must be some kind of word like 'belangrijk' (Dutch & Belgian Dutch) in German and has just invented it...but the most funny fact: I just found out that the word 'belangreich' really exists instead of 'wichtig' (meaning 'important'), even if it's very outdated. So Kevin de Bruyne teached me something about my own mother language now. :D
