I loved that clip of Fox and Sabonis on that show, and watching your breakdown only added more context and understanding. Love this channel
i love actual basketball strategy breakdowns like this
Awesome video, I loved the historical aspect. One thing I always find funny is that even when the defense knows what play is coming, because it's not like they're discreet in calling it, it's still so hard to defend. Gives you a good idea of just how good NBA players are
Great video, informative breakdown as always. Love the voiceovers that explain these things in basketball terms without coming across as condescending. Also, I really appreciate the historical context behind the plays. I'd imagine the MDA era Suns were in some way responsible for much of the offensive concepts we see in the NBA today.
Very good stuff!
pistol 5 can also be called the pinch post action in the triangle offense

Right it’s like a secondary transition pinch post. Probably a little wider than PP too
I always mistake pistol with Chicago 😭

You can’t. That’s why they be scoring 120+ a game in the NBA. There’s always a counter read the offense can make

@@ABSayysO then he just passes off to the guard? If you put 2 on the ball in the NBA you’re cooked
De'Aaron FAX lmao
Reminds me of flag football plays
Raptors set: similar to Point Weak Zoom but with an empty gap for the guy coming off
Is your course for players too?
Love the Philly set with Embiid and Redick. Redick’s pace makes the Keep option so deadly.
This is basically the 2 man side of the triangle offense.
seems perfect for the Bucks with Giannis and a healthy Khris or Jrue
Malika tho 😏
What’s funny is there is nothing special about this action. NBA players are just really good. Try running this with your crappy high school team and you will get nothing.

you need the right personnel to run and excute these types of play and this just shows that NBA players are the elites of the elites.
