I love how ‘crowd control’ in Ultrakill doesn’t refer to lame barriers or pushing enemies around like in other games and instead it’s just killing everything you see

Crowd control in other games: large AOE slow/stun. Crowd control in Ultrakill: you control if there is a crowd.

You're my most favorite ultrakill creator. Almost all the time when I interact with some of the members in the ultrakill community, they either complain about changes that doesn't effect the game as a whole and just think negative of all the changes done to the game, it's one of the reasons why I don't have as much fun in ultrakill as I once had but damn it's so damn nice to watch someone talk about the positives of this game, hell you made me realize there are no positives or negatives in this game, it's just a fun damn game.

Don’t try to deny other people’s experiences with this community’s toxicity because it’s common sense that no one willingly wants to seek it out.

gonna be frank, the alt marksman buff made me switch the second it was announced, i always wanted to play around with the alt marksman but it's slow attack speed always made it a bit awkward for me to use, now it having the speed of the normal marksman, minus the split shots, i honestly kind of prefer it sice it's really really fun. also SCREWDRIVER BROS KEEP WINNING!!!!! GREEN RAILCANNON IS THE BEST!!!!!!!!

they aren't, until alt marksman can split shot in probably not going to use it. forget the screwdriver it's straight trash when the chainsaw and parries exist.

Placing down some magnet saw traps and using the default jumpstart nailgun results in some super fun rooms clears like in 5-3, since the saws orbiting the magnets still contribute to the reduction of the jumpstart timer and results in a super quick conductor chain.

That's a hard question to answer, but I definitely feel like my most enjoyable matches have been good old sword-fights with Ky. On the other hand, I struggle the most against Millia. Fortunately for me, though, I don't encounter them all too often!

there are a solid 2 things that i adore about this update 7-S and the conductor buffs (including chaining it with coins, magnets and frozen rockets)

If Eren wants to talk about how much he appreciates the Screwdriver’s buffs who is in their right place to stop him? He’s one of the most skilled ULTRAKILL players on KZread so it’s cool that he backs such an underrated weapon. Jesus Christ dude you’re the EXACT reason people say this community is toxic. @@EreNyn3 I have the charged and sawed on while keeping the regular core eject for easy nukes. The Alt shotguns are so fun in cybergrind when you just go flying into the sky.

For me, i dont even bother with the jumpstart or sawed-on purely because my playstyle is just so focused around the pump charge shotgun (now alt pump) but that's probably just me lol

Personally, this update left kind of a bittersweet taste in my mouth. I absolutely loved the new level, except for the detail of the water not shooting straight at all. For the new weapon variations though... Can't say I did very much. I find them quite gimmicky, and I already have so many options in ultrakill to deal damage that I kind of don't really know what even the use of even more weapons is. The only new addition to the arsenal that I absolutely love is the alternate shotgun. I always have though about how cool it would be to make an fps game where you deal damage based on your momentum and this weapon gets me closer to that Idea. However, there's one problem. Usually these new additions would not be a problem to me, but the thing is that their inclusion in my arsenal makes it atrocious to actually play well because now I have 3 weapons I can access with only one key. With two variations it's not that much of a problem because you press the key and if you press it again you have the weapon you have, but with 3 you need to take in account which variation comes next and if you want to directly take the one in your third slot you need to press the button three times which is just stressful to me. Now I constantly keep swapping to the wrong variation and it feels so clunky. Sure, one could just say "skill issue" and move on but I really don't think that's the point. I just think it doesn't feel right, it's about accessibility. I think that adding an option to change directly to a new variation would be an almost necessary thing at this point. It would certainly increase my enjoyment of this update a lot and although I know that hakita doesn't like to add stuff like that, I don't see how that could hurt the game in any way.

I myself was hoping that Hakita would add specific binds for each variant colour in this update, but it seems like we only have a "next" and "previous" bind instead. Sadly, this is pretty redundant for me since the scroll wheel serves this function when I'm using the revolvers specifically. For now, I'm alright with unequipping variants to avoid unintended swaps, but having to miss out on a lot of weapons is still quite unfortunate. One way or another, I think it's understandable that you feel that way about the new variants. The red weapons in general are a little more niche in use cases compared to the rest of the arsenal, but they definitely do their intended jobs well. So, they'll either be key components of a person's arsenal, or completely absent instead!

I was wondering, how do you effectively use the Core Eject Jackhammer? The problem for me is that it’s incredibly hard to land core hitscan shots with that jackhammer, because the momentum’s kinda wonky when you’re mid air, so I just don’t really know how to use it to its fullest effect

If you like staying mobile whilst using the Alt CE, whiplash towards the enemies you're shooting! I have a Short demonstrating what I mean, so feel free to check that out. If you just wanna hit any enemy without targeting one in particular (whilst midair), snipe coins instead! I just realised that I somehow didn't include any clips of myself using this technique in today's video, but that's my go to method for hitting frozen rockets with the Alt CE when Cyber Grinding.

since you seem to use all your weapons on white, do you think there should be a different clock-shape ( if yk what i mean ) for each rocket launcher variant? i think itd be helpful, and i kinda need it like, freezeframe circle, srs square, firestarter.. idk

One idea I had for the SRS Cannon was an explosion-shaped icon, considering the weapon is a reference to Serious Sam in the first place!

Homing orbs feel a lot harder to deal with on Brutal. I think they reduced the speed or made the tracking tighter or something? Whenever I fight a mindflayer I always end up with 10+ blue orbs on my ass. I wish I could use the green alt shotgun but the only consistent way I can deflect the orbs is with the green default shotgun. Sharpshooter and knuckleblaster work, but they're trickier and have cooldowns.

parry and dash through them is usually good, granted I don't play brutal much but I've had the same luck as on violent as to were I can dash through them and they usually can't come back and end up hitting the arena or the map in cg, hope this helps!

I personally use the regular Sharpshooter to deal with grouped up homing orbs, but I'll still get caught off guard by a random Mannequin sniping me from outta nowhere haha

I hope there isn't an alt rail gun I think that would be less useful then the screwdriver and that's already fuckin dog shit. alt rocket launcher would Def be cool but I doubt we're getting a new alt again.

Cheers! It’s more like controlled understeer rather than drifting though, so you just need to make sure you balance the right amount of throttle input with your steering.

i absolutely hate the strays inside of brutal, dont get me wrong, i love the new rework, it is just annoying to deal with because knuckelblaster isn't good, that is where the saw jumpstart comes in, i can kill multiple people, and more, with two buttons.

Im on 35 in brutal, oddly in violent im on 72, does that count as skill issue?

im so glad we talked about the screwdriver and not 7-s. it's so awesome that we talk about good info here to plug the stream. at least we didn't see him simp over the alt marksman when it got its "buff" like he did the screwdriver. this community fucking sucks man.
