I could not agree more! I can’t imagine owning a sheep and not being an expert yet trying to do my best and then finally calling an expert and being judged, as we see far too often in SO many cases, related to sheep or not. People are often so judgmental, and it’s so refreshing to see someone be quite the opposite. I love it. All love, all around! And one happy sheep!

You have to bear in mind that while shearing is beneficial to the sheep it always puts a great deal of distress on a sheep and I fully understand that some owners feel like it is less stressful on the sheep if they are being shorn by someone they trust

Especially since quite a few of the sheeps she is shearing are rescues, AND because there are apparently less and less shearers out there, so I am sure they did the best they could!

@courtney5113 sorry but if you own any animal you need to be able to look after it - so either learn yourself or know you need a professional. They should have realised and hired a shearer from the start. Lack of confidence is no excuse for poor animal care.

They’re nothing I love more than watching someone who’s mastered something, practice their craft. It can be gourmet cooking, boxing, or sheep shearing…but whatever it is, it’s surreal watching them work

Compared to other sheering videos, I enjoy your commentary because you give us a back story and it's educating!

I have helped a friend shear her sheep when she had them. It is WAAAAAAY harder than it looks. I am always impressed by how easy the professional shearers make it look. Props for the skills!!

The first 3 seconds, she might have been a bit hesitant, but as soon as she felt that breeze on her skin, she was like, "oh, mama, keep doing what you're doing, hold on, let me just get my footing" She was really well behaved there

For everyone saying "well doesn't it hurt them" it only hurts them if the person shearing knicks them like whenever you get a haircut and the barber knicks your ear. It actually relieves a bunch of stress from them because the wool is weighing them down and can pull on their skin if it's heavy enough.

I enjoy watching the change as you peel the wool off. My grandkids watch vids with me.

As a kid who grew up in SoCal..never have I seen shearing..it is so cool, I love these videos. Now As a Texan I can proudly say I have seen it.keep doing what your doing, it's magical ❤

You and your partner are the Best. Love watching you work.

If the animals didn’t like it they would not tolerate being rolled around and moved around the way they are. They are extremely calm and know they will feel better afterwards. It’s abuse to let the wool get matted and all that, they can die from an overgrown coat.

Blame is on the ones who are exploiting it for wool...You surely don't think these are domestic sheep who had nobody to cut , do you? They are tortured a lot. They are infact raised to be exploited for wool.

@@vomm sheep are domesticated animals and while I agree that farming standards are abysmally low and leads to a lot of abuse, setting sheep free into the wild with no protections will only lead to dead and overheated sheep. Farm animals need to be treated better overall but the sheep in the video appear to be well-loved and cared for. Your comment does nothing to help any animal.

Love all your videos. I secretly have always admired your profession. I so enjoy listening to your explanation of each sheering, and clearly, your joy at helping all those animals feel free of all that wool.

You handle the furkids with such xare that they are relaxed and calm. That is truly amazing. The finished products must be beautiful.

How are the sheep I'm seeing online so calm and docile. Where I come from they are very stubborn like goats,they even flinch soo hard when being touched. And they can sometimes just become really strong and refuse to move no matter how hard you pull the rope
