@@isabelle12981I think a little skin irritation from the clippers was unavoidable with all that wool. I’m sure they put antibiotic on it to avoid infection. He probably doesn’t even feel it compared to the relief of getting rid of all that weight. It must have felt so good 😊

My favorite part is when the other sheep came up to greet the poor sheep as it got there, especially the one in the walker. So sweet!

This is my sort of TV. I could watch this all day.

Poor little thing. I'm so glad he was rescued and loved how the young lady was comforting him. Was a little concerned that he was bloody but I'm sure that couldn't have been helped. I bet he feels so much better now!

Yes sadly that comes with having too much wool it grows so much to the point that it pulls on their skin so nicking is inevitable and bound to happen when shearing them.

With that much matting and weight of fleece, even the shearing is painful, as the fleece that is being shorn and peeled away pulls harder on the skin. Poor Baarack was an absolute trooper and an angel for not fighting or panicking during that ordeal.

So glad these lovely people were able to rescue and help him.

We are like this sheep we carry negative thoughts and past which burden our present, when we leave them we get the freedom from our thoughts 😊👍

Sweet little boy! I almost cried when he walked in his fresh stall after his haircut and he could see his new friends there cheering him on. He is just the sweetest boy! Thank God for his rescue!💙

The coat could also be to protect injured or sensitive skin. The oils, weight, pulling, and potentially bugs from that matted fleece can do a lot of damage.

Poor baby! You could see the wool pulling at his neck. The wool came off and the baby had a new walk 🥰

I’m just glad he’s all better now that he had all that fleece shaved off of him and now enjoying his time in the sanctuary with other sheep.

After getting all that heavy wool off, despite it giving her very red sores, she went about her day and ate. I'm glad the sheep was rescued

probably both lol strong muscles short term, massive joint problems later in life casue they got so worn out when carrying all that weight

I am so thankful for all the help and love this little soul got. All these lovely caring people and not to forget, Bondi vet. The lady holding the sheep's head and petting it while it is being shaved is such a big emotional help to the sheep. She gave the sheep reassurance and love, so so important. Thank you all so much. What a great team. Now it is done and there is one more little happy soul in this world.

did you see any wounds? (the worst the shears do is a small nick and the oil in the sheeps bottom coat which is left on soothes any nicks it may get)

Baa-Baa tickled me at first standing there, checking out the scenery while “waiting”…. Baa-Baa gave me Cruella De Vil vibes with a huge hooded fur coat and those skinny legs. Then I teared up seeing how difficult it was for both the shearer and sheep. Wool so extremely matted it nicked Braveheart Baa during the process. The ending ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

This made me cry. Seriously beautiful animal. ❤

Poor guy! I can’t imagine how heavy all that wool must have been. And restrictive too! I’m really happy Baarack is comfortable and being cared for now.

You can see how the weight of the wool was already hurting the skin around his neck before they began shearing him; he probably had other injuries elsewhere. I'm shocked he wasn't more injured.

Poor fella! I'm so glad it's OK now. Must feel so much better!!
