Just something about me…
Since prior to my entry into the wedding industry, I have been considered to be one of the most reputable lighting specialists in the Philippines, conducting workshops nationwide and have been featured in various photography magazines. I was also a multi-awarded portrait and advertising photographer.
My expertise is in manipulating ambient and artificial light to create clean and classic photographs which naturally led me to the genre of portrait and wedding photography. Since then, I have shot numerous weddings locally and overseas exhibiting my signature style.

Thank you for the video. I just came here to see the team work with your wife. I wish I can push my wife to join me too lol.
Excellent video! And Coco rocks!
I appreciate you Coco. Thanks for always being there 🎉
I just noticed something while you were talking about Coco being able to see herself in the mirror, she smile and OMG her looked beautiful. Please do a shot of her smiling. A portrait shot or something. She's so beautiful. Well done Coco 🎉
Great video, you and Coco make a great team.

My new favourite channel. Get home from working in a school, crack open a drink and sit down to watch this informative (and relaxing) channel. Have I learnt from it? In many ways. Thank you Jiggie (and Coco!) from the UK.

Brilliant love the details big thanks 👌
Im currently converting one of my bedrooms in my 3 bedroom apartment to be a studio and the size/space is somewhat similar to what you have demonstrated in your video. And the first thing i did when i got the place was to paint on of the walls Black! i almost regret doing that but hearing you said that, that was one of the things you used to do has relieved me and inspired me to just create more now! Thank you Jiggie. Sending love and support from Malaysia!

I truly did enjoy this video. I have limited space too. It’s always nice to see various ways of dealing with that. This way was great. My all time favourite is still that big diffuser, but this is nice too. Of course, you always make Coco look beautiful. See seemed really comfortable and very confident in this sitting. Congratulations to all.
Sir jiggie I'm one of your followers and really appreciate watching the video it's really educational especially for me as a beginner.

it's a pity that I just learned your channel now after breaking my cam set few years back. I'm inspired to invest again. thanks for the tutorials🎉❤😊😊
Great video, love the detail... so easy to follow you... for I really disliked LED's because I always had to turn all other light sources off. But the concepts, and demonstration was right on! Thanks
I always appreciate your videos and I do want to thank Coco for all the help she gives you. I like that you give advice on using one light and shooting in a small area since with a limited budget that is exactly what I have to deal with. I'm relatively new to studio photography and not always sure what I need to buy and often find it very confusing. Your tutorials have been very helpful! Maybe someday you could do another video on using a single-speed light with a small softbox/umbrella (I use a Godox that is 32"). Thank you!

Also I just want to add that I think your beautiful wife, Coco, has become a really wonderful model over time, it is like she has internalised all your advice and now really "owns" the role, portraying great poise and confidence. i dont mind the 'extreme detail' but i agree getting winded, talking and doing! Coco is absolutely the best model! and she has a beautiful voice too. does she sing? you could record her doing some karaoke! i remember getting my senior portraits being shot (40 years ago!!!) and our photographer had constant lighting. i dont know how i feel about constant light yet. still learning the fine points of flash...

Very nice Jiggie and thank you for your unfailing patience Coco. I would have liked to see the effect of a hairlight added towards the end of the video because Coco's (black) hair disappears into the backdrop. I guess that's dramatic, however.
Thanks! The only tip I would add is to put some weight (sand bag) on the C-Stand. About two weeks ago I broke some plant pots 😅 because I pushed over my cstand.

Great video, what is the distance from camera to subject
Amazing videos. I was looking and am curious about the monitor your have facing your subject. Is that your Atomos recorder doing dual roles to allow your subject to self edit their pose? Is it close enough to keep the eye line “on camera “?
@JiggieAlejandrino
Жыл бұрын
It’s a feelworld monitor since I am showing. All the settings the monitor of my camera shuts off, so I need a monitoring monitor too, usually it’s to check pose and angle but then when I am about to shoot coco stares at the lens

As usual, great content Jiggie. I just wish influencers would stop taking money from these manufacturers pushing out LEDs. LED's are great for video but have no place in photography. Pupils the size of pencils and clientele complaining youre burning thier eyes out. They are disasterous and people are wasting their money because influencers are justifying them. Please people, dont waste your money. Buy strobes. You will have a far better deliverable.
@quirkworks4076
Жыл бұрын
I respectfully offer that both LEDs and strobes have their place in studio portraiture, sometimes even in combination. It all depends on the desired results. Being well versed in how to use both systems, and them applying them creatively will bring the best outcomes.
