Thank you Tim ! Ruby is already very excited because my Mum is cooking pigs in blankets tomorrow. She says she can do without the blankets, just give her the pigs 😂 So, time for beer. It's a double celebration for me, which is odd. The Spanish celebrate Christmas tonight and I am invited to join a friend and his family. Then tomorrow I get to do a normal UK Christmas at my Mum's place. So I suspect that much beer will be consumed in the coming hours 😂 Oh well, it's only once per year. So thank you, it means a lot to know that you are enjoying what I do 🙂👍🏻 I hope we both get to have some amazing, memorable rides next year Bill and who knows, maybe I can finally manage to do a trip on one of the bikes. I'd love to do that but of course, I will need somebody ( "Hi mum !" 😂 ) to look after Ruby, if I do. But it's definitely something I am desperate to do next year, even if it's just for a weekend ! Hi John, nothing wrong with a quiet Christmas. I've been having them for years now 😂 This year's Christmas is turning out to be one of my livelier ones though. I spent last night celebrating Christmas Eve with the Spanish family of a friend of mine, which was lovely, but I didn't get in until 3am this morning. At lunchtime I am off to my Mum's and the same Spanish family has invited me to join them for more partying this afternoon. To be honest, I think I'll probably give that a miss. Lunch with Mum, home late afternoon, feet up, telly on, pour myself a whisky. That sounds like a nice way to wind down Christmas 👍🏻 I am already feeling slightly partied out if I am being honest - must be an age thing 😂 I have heard that it has been very wet in the northerly parts of Europe lately. I will keep things crossed for you that you get some dry weather soon, maybe you'll get our current weather ? It's beautiful here at the moment. Sunny, blue skies and nearly 20C during the day. My next couple of videos need to be watched with sunglasses on John ! But I'm sure lots of folks over there will appreciate my upcoming doses of winter sunshine 😇 But this nice weather is set not to last until the New Year, so maybe it will be coming your way, for a sunny start to 2024. Hi Peter, that's not a problem. The Spanish celebrate tonight anyway.
