Still find it difficult to watch her. I'm 44 and there is 'nobody' else I've heard in those 44 years that have cone close to her talent. You were spot on when you said she bared you her soul. Please react to 'love is a losing game'. It is, in my opinion, her best work. I just can't listen to it without being a blubbering wreck by the end. God bless you and God rest you, Amy.

It's so hard for me to listen to Amy Winehouse, I lost the love of my life to a heroin addiction, Amy was one of her favorite artists. I love everything about her voice and style but I can barely make it through a song, or even typing this sentence, without tears, but I still listen to her once in a while, just amazing.

Amy struggled her whole life with bulimia , alcohol addiction and then later on drugs...a shame. This performance was during a not so good period of her life, she has way better live performances than this, you can see she isn't totally present on this one, tho still sounded good. She always does. I'd recommend ‘back to black’ live acoustic on silver bullet but i'd also recommend you check out some of her records cause the production of Salaam Remi paired with Amy's voice is insane. One of my favorites is "In My Bed" which was a flip of Nas - Made You Look

She was a rare, special and unique talent both lyrically & vocally - her voice was pure and effortless - singing was like breathing for her. Amy was a once in a lifetime gift to us and I will always adore her. I remember when the news broke that she'd been found dead - I just couldn't stop crying for daaaays... She didn't even see herself as being that special, saying "I'm just a girl who sings".....I wish she was still with us. 💔 Beautiful Amy R.I.P. 💔 Please react to 'Rehab' or ''Back To Black'' - classic, raw, unapologetic Amy. She also did some amazing covers - ‘To Know Him Is To Love Him’, or Hathaway's 'I Love You More Than You'll Ever Know' - kzread.info/dash/bejne/ZWpmrKOrpsunoco.html mesmerising, haunting and such emotive vocals...basically what she did best. ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🖤 Here’s the trailer to ‘Amy’ - a documentary of the highs and lows of her life and how it ended. Heart-breaking is an understatement: kzread.info/dash/bejne/kWatpauwnbHbfKg.html

I love that you did this video man. She revered Sarah Vaughn, and Etta James in particular (you can hear it), but also Billie Holiday, Aretha, Diana... "Tears Dry On Their Own" is my favourite song of hers! Both her two studio albums were each produced half by Mark Ronson from UK and Salaam Remi from U.S.A... Salaam researched how the Motown cats mic'd up their drums and how they recorded, and emulated that.. and you can hear it in the production of those songs.

I love listening to Amy Winehouse, and I have some very heartwarming memories attached to her songs. One of my favorite memories is of driving in my car with my daughter, Willow, when she was about 4 years old. She had fallen asleep in the car, but when this song came on she was wide awake. Then I almost had to pull the car over when I realized that she was singing the song with Amy. I was amazed that my precious child was copying Amy's voice to her best ability. I teared up and then I couldn't help but laugh as she sang Ï cheated myself like I knew I would, I told you I was trouble, you know that I'm no good" with all the soulful passion that she could, I absolutely loved the moment. When the song was over, she started clapping. Then she asked me to play the song again. I did and she had a blast vibing with Amy Winehouse. I know the song may seem inappropriate for a 4-year-old, but my daughter with an old soul felt the soul and passion in Amy's voice. She knew that this woman was special and needed her attention. She still loves Amy Winehouse and wishes we hadn't lost her so soon. Willow is now almost seventeen, but every time I hear this song, I hear her innocent child voice trying to sing just like Amy and how her face lit up as soon as Amy started singing.

You made me laugh with the pimple thing, I did not even notice it. Is the Grady thing like Grady from Sanford and Son? lol Amy had a amazing voice, jazz, truth, and funk all in one. She was a beautiful woman too, amazing hair and eyes. She does not have that Barbie face that is so "American". She was Jewish and Arab, super hot.

I'm not sure which one of you started the trend. But I'm very happy about it. I've been leaving messages with 8 reactors I watch four months now for somebody to pay attention to Amy. And it's caught on , I'm sure it wasn't me but it doesn't matter as long as Amy is being heard. Very cool you reacted to this. She's a genius and I miss her. Back to Black and Valerie are set great. Great reaction but you're watching a very poor video for it. You're missing out on her horn section backup singers and band. × sorry you changed up after I commented. But you are right on a few accounts. She is a legend. And she's a very classic Beauty. Even before she died I would explain her two friends as bringing class and jazz back to music. sadly the video you played was when Amy started having a lot of problems. Wasn't long after this video that she could not perform live it was tragic to watch

Cool reaction, loved that you could not help but dance in your seat. People like Amy add to my conviction about reincarnation.. Some souls are older than others it seems. Like they have been here multiple times. If she returns again may her life be blessed with health and be peaceful . Highly sensitive souls like her often drug themselves out because our hearts receive vibes on an amplifier and it can be too much to take in a world like this.. May you rest and rest Amy and come back full strength one day and may you always be protected by the love of God .. PEACE.

I've been listening to Sublime lately. Kind of a walk down memory lane. Check out April 29. 1992 (Miami). It was written about the Rodney King Riots but could be just as relavant for today.

I'm from metro Detroit and remember being downtown during all the riots. We had a friend that lived by Cass Corridor where in case you don't know, the ladies of the evening frequented. It was quiet in the entire city, the only thing scary going on was the prostotute throwing her flip flops at us for not picking her up. We were in a single cab pickup truck. Two guys and me. 😆 I'll never forget that week for a long as I live! Not that for the funny things, but for the injustice of it all and how we came together. No one looted, everything was copacetic as we use to say.

She died of acute alcohol poisoning. Winehouse's blood alcohol content was 416 mg per 100 ml (0.416%) at the time of her death, more than five times the legal drink-drive limit. Bulimia was a big problem for her, but it was the alcohol that killed her.

Truth betold, I can’t handle that horn, but damn if you didn’t make it impossible for me to not sub to you. What you said about her showing her soul… That’s why I subbed. You seem like an incredible person. You made me laugh, which is pretty rare. Our heads started bobbing at the same time. You just seem like a really cool person. I’m glad I stumbled across your video.
