I'm pretty sure this was Amy's first appearance on TV, on Later with Jools Holland. I was instantly smitten and bought Frank as soon as I could get my hands on it. I maintain that it's *even better* than Back To Black; the songs are as good, and more varied, and her voice is *far* more supple and greater in range.

You should definitely react to Wake Up Alone, and Me and Mr Jones for that vintage sound. She perfected that sound. Wake Up Alone is so full of emotion, it's hard not to choke up. As for Me and Me Jones, it's a really fun tune but tells a great story. As does You Know I'm No Good. Just all of them.

R.I.P. sweet Amy 💔 She only 19 when she performed this😢 She was so intelligent & witty but had that incredibly unique gift of being able to connect with those who were in pain - her lyrics, her music but combine that with her amazing voice and you have a LEGENDARY artist....gone far too soon....this world & fame was too much for her to cope with. She battled bulimia in her teens/20's, alcoholism/drug addiction in her 20's and the scumbag of a husband that destroyed her (‘Back To Black’ is about him).....he was so toxic, but tragically she paid the price for loving him. Listen to ‘Love is A Losing Game’, ‘You know I'm No Good’, ‘Rehab’ and a couple of covers - ‘To Know Him Is To Love Him’ or Hathaway's 'I Love You More Than You'll Ever Know' - kzread.info/dash/bejne/ZWpmrKOrpsunoco.html mesmerising, haunting and such emotive vocals...basically what she did best. ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🖤 Here’s the trailer to ‘Amy’ - a documentary of the highs and lows of her life and how it ended. I blame the dad because she was getting help but he wanted money so bad he didn't care that his daughter was dying inside took her out of rehab and made her keep touring and singing even though she was tired and trying to fight urges then her ex came back and everything went down hill from there had the dad just left her alone and get help she wouldn't have went back to her ex and she probably would have been alive a bit longer I love Amy winehouse she reminds me of my Tia Valerie (my mom's baby sister) both lit the room and had everyone smiling and both had addiction's but both had beautiful souls
Yeah, she was bad!! Influenced by all the jazz greats, including, Dinah Washington. Please react to her duet with Tony Bennett, beautiful. Thanks for your reaction. Check out Angelina Jordan, see her channel, Norway's Got Talent, doing Billie Holliday at age 7. Use English subs. Thanks for your reaction.
