That line was worded wrong. It should have been, "I got him to sleep with me, I got him to marry me." but still one of the best lines on tv ever.

The tiara moment is perfectly acted. It's a perfect representation of all forms of adult decorum completely disappearing in favour of pure childish glee.

I think the best part of Sheldon and amys relationship is that look on raj and Howard's faces right before the "good God what have we done?". But they never get the credit for it. They're the reason that shamy happened, that Sheldon has a kid named Leonard (though not with Spock's dna), and the reason that Sheldon grew up(face it, without Amy it wouldn't have happened). Raj and Howard deserve some recognition.

Totally disagree. The WRITERS did this, and they should have been fired. This was where the show went off the rails. No "Sheldon" (and I was friends with one, for 43 years, up till he died last year at age 62, a life long virgin who never went on a single date, a man who taught himself multivariable calculus in his bedroom as a teenager, a man who tutored college kids in math and physics - tho never attended a single college class) would ever marry. Remember early in the series, where Sheldon expressed his bewilderment at human relationships? How he claimed to not have a sex drive (as he said, he was not 'burdened' with such an affliction)? They ruined the character development. His friendship, a platonic one, with Amy was fine. But once it got essentially romantic, it got stupid, simply following the pop-culture norm, abandoning who "Sheldon" was. TBBT was a three or four year series that was awesome, after that, I quit watching.

Amy is my favourite character, especially towards the end of the show. Her character arc and development is so well done and her effect on other characters like sheldon and penny not only changed the shows dynamics but changed the course of the show for the better.

Misssing in this list is the scene in which Amy cooks spaguetti with hotdogs to Sheldon. Her mischevious smile when Sheldon says they should do that more often was GOLD!😂 I rolled laughing!

Amy was probably the most evolved character on the show. If you think about it their whole lives improved and the characters evolved after meeting Penny, as well as Penny’s character evolved after meeting the rest of them.

No matter how many times I see the tiara scene, my mood instantly goes through the roof. Amy is hilarious and so adorable. Protect at all costs

Favorite Amy moments: the tiara, Amy and Sheldon playing "doctor" (Star Trek style), and Amy "training" Sheldon to love her.

My favorite line from Amy is from the episode where Howard and Bernadette are getting married and Amy says "Bernadette I wanna thank you for allowing me to be your maid of honor. I also want you to know that I would bet happy to do it again if this marriage craps out"

The tiara is one of the best ever. Her sheer joy over it is just palpable.

This show needs to come back with children and them as parents and how they cope.

It's a tough call, but Amy just might be my favorite TBBT character. She's so consistently relatable and hilarious.

Amy wanting their menstrual cycle to be synced always has me dying😂😂

This could have been much, much longer. Just her reaction to Sheldon when sick saying he would "rub ointment on her chest" was comedy gold. How about the kid's playhouse? "What-cha doin?" "What's all that wine for"? Penny- "need to stay hydrated".

But Sheldon selected the tiara, which is why Penny thought it was too much and gave us the iconic, doubled meaning Sheldon line after Amy hugs him. "You were right, it was too much".

I thought Penny and Sheldon have the best relationship and then Amy happened. She was so calm, so reasonable, so selfless and understanding. I cried alot of times like when she was outside Sheldon's bedroom asking him what's wrong during prom. She is so understanding and patient that and I even wanted her to break up with him. Actually the build up to break up was really subtle. I was really thinking Sheldon was being frustrating but after every fight Amy always forgives him. I never really thought that they would break up. I just thought it would be nice if Amy will have a break from Sheldon and then it happend. That break up really made their relationship stronger and better.

I think it would be funny af if their kids acted like his brother & sister & his sisters daughter is like Shelly
