Obviously, Jim Parsons was a once-in-a-generation find as Sheldon Cooper. But Kaley Cuoco gets very little credit for her facial expressions, hilarious use of her voice, and most especially her comedic timing. People think she's just the pretty-face-love-interest, but her delivery is top-notch. And it took that talent to share the screen with Jim Parsons without getting chewed up. Their chemistry is terrific.

One thing I loved about all the characters is that they’re all really good actors with unique facial expressions. Leonard with his cute smile and lower lip bite, Sheldon with his apathetic and clueless face, especially when “sus” remarks are made, Howard with his nod and lip lick, especially when he makes an obscene comment… It’s very cool to watch

I was a a theoretical physics major and I LOVE that scene. Way to go, Penny! (She even exits stage left). It's like Feynman at Los Alamos when he accidentally opened a combination lock, in front of people, while demonstrating a safecracking method he figured out. He was just showing the general approach to a friend, but the safe opened in no time, because Feynman happened to guess, by absolute dumb luck, the first two numbers right. He and his "confederate" looked at each other in astonishment, both realizing this amazing stunt had been accomplished in 5 seconds by the dumb luck of Feynman guessing the first two numbers right, and his friend saved face for Feynman in front of everybody, and said, "I see what you mean!"

@@mircat28 Neither does being book smart. People can be genius without being gifted in science. Penny could in theory be a genius in other ways. Though I dont consider her genius myself, I do consider her smart. She's street smart, and often outsmarts these guys in several ways. She holds her own around them, and she has enough intelligence to not feel self concious or link her own self worth to how she compares to these guys. In many ways Penny is smarter then these 4. Thats why their friendship works. If she was truly dumb, they would not have been able to stand spending time with her. Her smarts just work different, but she IS smart.

It was a blonde girl that had just moved in the apartment above Sheldon's. She was a pretty and an actress too and was using her looks to get the guys to help her move into her apartment. Penny was telling her to be careful with the guys because they have feelings and she shouldn't lead them on. she was also a little jealous because that girl was taking her nerds away from her. Just some context.

She's been with over 39 guys, according to Sheldon, plus her junior high school and high school, over 50 (that's my math) I've watched the entire series over 10 times(have the complete series on DVD) Penny still the alcoholic who tolerates poor, poor Leonard.

Penny's not as dumb as they make her out to be. Not dumb at all. And she can stand up for herself. The best parts are where she gets cracked up by the others. There's several times where you think, they didn't put "Penny smiles" in the script, they just made Kaley Cuoco crack up. I wish I'd watched this show when it was on the air, I had no idea it was this good before seeing the clips on KZread.

One of my favorite moments you described was I believe in season 2. Sheldon was trying to become friends with Krypke, and hebinvited him to dinner. Where Krypke kept on making passing comments at Penny in really creepy ways. Which prompted Howard to walk by Penny and go "Suddenly I'm looking pretty good, huh?" Penny's reaction couldn't have been scripted, it was golden

Every moment with Penny is the best. She played a supporting role on Charmed but then broke it big in Big Bang...Under appreciated talent if you ask me.

I know of a woman whoo was a major party girl, and more. But being a single mom forced her to be more responsible. I guess she still partys a little. Also she seems like a very nice person, great family member and friend. Absolutely gorgeous at 40 (looks 25).

Just adorable the relationship that develops between Sheldon and penny, she becomes accustomed to all his quirks and doesn't put up with his snooty nonsense, many favourite scenes but probably top is when penny is short of cash and Sheldon offers a cash loan, doesn't even enter his head that she may not pay back loan.they love each other deeply in platonic way.

I never watched this show while it was on TV because I didn’t have a TV. I have come to love these clips, especially the compilations. Such great script writers. I can see why it won so many awards.

I am glad that Penny has this group for friends. She doesn't get treated like every other blonde. Her mind, (and her patience), are challenged.

Chuck Lorre is a genius. The writing was crisp and super funny. The ensemble cast was just terrific. The idea to give Sheldon Cooper a childhood was genius. We still watch reruns almost every night of both TBBT and Young Sheldon. I particularly liked the segments with Raj's parents on line. Funny funny funny. Also, I really enjoyed the peripheral characters. Lots of great acting. And who can ever forget Howard's mom. I wonder if Lorre was influenced by December Bride with an unseen character in 1949. Thanks for the video.

They did the laundry room scene wrong. She goes, Penny: "Oh, no. Are all the laundry machines taken?" ... and then Sheldon should be going, Sheldon: (zooms over to the sink fills it up); Penny: "What are you doing?"; Sheldon: "I worked out the routine. That last one where Sheldon grabs Penny's breast has always been my favorite. The genuine uncomfortableness is so great right there. Although Penny and Sheldon are such large characters in the series, Amy has the best role to act. It isn't that Amy is the better actor, but they definitely had a great role written for her. Heck, dating Sheldon, that is such a huge blank slate to play with, and the actress plays that part so beautifully.
