I don’t do the “ooh” noise even when I hear a nasty burn, but that…that deserved it. I did it again just by watching this clip. So iconic it deserves an Emmy by itself.

The episode where the gang is having the celebratory dinner for Mrs. Wolowitz is the episode where Howard finally notices Bernadette sounds like his mother.

....As played to perfection by Stephen Root (Milton from "Office Space"). I think they should have added him to the show in a greater role than they gave him, I think he's probably in the show for less than 5 minutes all told, which is a shame. And IDK what they were thinking by making Bert the Geologist a more prominent character. Poor guy was never given anything funny to say and when he talked it was always just to put himself down. That's obviously the fault of the writers and producers and not the actor - but the point is Bert has no reason to be in the show. He was the butt of Sheldon's snarky comments about geology, and that's all he was ever allowed to be.

The scavenger hunt, when she attacks Leonard for slowing down for a bird by saying, "you know they can fly. Right?"

I also like the one where she makes Sheldon do a bunch of chores saying that they are Howard’s favorite chores. Sheldon gets excited to do them because he wants to get back at Howard and by doing his ‘favourite’ chores Bernadette sits there like a savage

Things just got worse, including adding two children into the stress quotient. I see either a bunch of therapy and medication, or divorce in their after-series lives.

@@argusfleibeit1165 I had a girlfriend who had rheumatoid arthritis, 3 girls, and an abusive husband who she stayed with because foster care would have split the kids up. Instead, she developed a dark sense of humor not unlike Bernie's prankster persona in the Parking Spot episode.

Bernadette as Cinderella is gorgeous. I was infatuated with her Cinderella.

Bernadette was not in the scene, but the episode when Penny is interviewing for a position at the pharmaceutical firm. The hiring manager quickly exposes that Penny has no meaning "technical qualifications." Penny says she only came to the interview because she was afraid of Bern. The manager then has a me too moment.

I feel like just in general, when you are in a relationship with someone you claim to love you shouldn't feel the need to take swipes at how much your partner makes - especially not as much as she does. A joke every now and again I guess is fine but this went too overboard.

Bernadette and Howard are up very differently and I am sure that Bernadette vowed to herself that she would grow up and make money - while on the other hand - Howard doesn't seem to have much of an issue with money as he grows in a household where all of his needs are met.

I don't understand why many viewers claim that he becomes mature & independent through his relationship with Bernadette.

she was the most realistic character on the show

All 3 main actresses seem to be born for these BBT roles, but the writers obviously get major credit too... so hard to hand out the laugh credits. The dynamics changed so much when they added Bernadette... then Amy. 3 totally different styles of comedy between them.

Felt like Bernie was channeling Howard’s mother pretty well.

I thought you might have included Bernadette’s comment after Sheldon & Amy’s trip to Texas. Sheldon put underwear over his head at Mary’s home & said later “I was acting odd intentionally” Bernadette’s response was “so you can control it”.

Also, not mathematically impossible like the voice-over says if you can think of at two people who would come in, cook and leave before it is likely that Howard cooks.

I think it's actually pretty cold that Bernadette said Howard should make more money. She's actually in a career that is relatively pretty harmful to people, at least from which he says where she's always working with dangerous diseases and chemicals that could possibly kill thousands of people if they ever got out. And just because she does things like for pharmaceutical companies she's obviously going to make more money than an engineer.

While the line about Amy's sex life was savage, the "One way or another we're leaving with a dead woman" had me laughing. However, the topper to everything had to be the dinner where she chewed out Sheldon and Lennard while sounding like Howard's mother. The whole thing was scary, but Howard's line after that had me rolling with laughter.

I think we all should be careful around Bernadette 😅

There were a couple of others that should have made it into the ranking but didn't: "You're a putz!" When Howard convinces Bernadette that she's the reason for his mother having what everyone thought was a heart attack, and they're all at the hospital. Savage when she's not even there: When Penny interviewed for a sales job at Bernadette's company, and Penny and the HR Guy bond over how terrified of Bernadette they both were. This should have been #1 on your list.

"Sweet, little, vicious, bernadette.."

At least an Honorable Mention for the moment Bernie thought she was signing a Happy Retirement Card for a co-worker yet it was a Get Well Card instead.

Bernadette: The tow truck driver didn't scratch your car. Amy: How do you know? Bernadette: CAUSE I DID IT!!.

Her yelling at sheldon and Leonard was hilarious.

"Anyone else wanna join the 'no cake club!" I loved it.

Bernadette was just a bully. She wasn't clever, wasn't sassy, wasn't cute. She was literally just a bully who abused her husband constantly. Imagine if Howard constantly yelled at her...

I love Bernie. Melissa plays her perfectly.

@@andrewjones575 that’s a very good point, but I feel that if they weren’t that close, Bernadette wouldn’t have made Howard bond with him on that fishing trip neither of them wanted to go on, and wouldn’t have invited him to Thanksgiving at Mrs. Wolowitz’s house. Interesting how he was invited to that, but not her mother.
