Not to disrespect Zeppelin, but I have been listening to this song for over 40 years. I just heard her sing it for the first time, and I realize, it has been waiting for her, I won't ever be able to hear it any other way. Robert Planet legitimately wrote this song for Amy to cover. Perfection doesn’t begin to describe it.

As a big fan of both Led Zeppelin and Evanescence, I gotta say that this is one hell of a great cover. I'm sure Robert Plant and the lads would be very proud to hear it sung so beautifully.

Has a song ever seen more justice? She crushed, killed, and nailed that song to the wall. Very, VERY, well done, Amy Lee.

Amy Lee needs to put out songs showing how beautiful her voice and soul with music expresses through her heart like this. I would download every song she sings.

I was a teenager, and had every Led Zeppelin record (in those days). My mum never told me to “turn it down”. I grew up with this music, but I think I appreciate it more now as a very much older person. This is such a beautiful song… I loved listening to Robert Plant & his voice singing this song. This is the first time I have heard Any Lee cover this song. Wow.. just wow. I think there’s a reason no one has sung this song successfully since Robert Plant… no one could until Amy Lee. What an experience.

Doesn't matter what the song is she gives goosebumps every time.

Absolutely amazing how much control she has over her voice. She's not just singing the words, she is shaping the notes and adding contours & texture. And she makes it sound effortless. What a phenomenal talent.

Not many could do this song just in a cover but Amy nailed it.

I don't know how she does it, but literally every song sounds so heartbreakingly beautiful.

Holy shit. I've put off listening to this for awhile because, well, I love Amy's work and her incredible talent and didn't want to be disappointed. Seriously, WHO can cover Led Zeppelin and make it sound good, let alone blow it outta the park? Apparently, Amy Lee can. Wow. Incredible.

I have always loved Amy’s voice. Classical, powerful, Rock, pop; she has the full range. Soft, tender sweet, moving, mystical and hauntingly beautiful. The best female vocalist around by far!

Chills down my spine... a lump in my throat... a tear in my eye... almost too much to take in on one listening... Wow!

Amy Lee's stunning voice gives me chills. She has such a magical way of breathing new life into old songs.

This video "THE STRANGE HISTORY OF EVANESCENCE" puts it perfectly - "She's just a super, charismatic person". Voice, ability, looks, resilience - really amazing woman 🥰

I never really paid much attention to Amy while she was with Evanescence (my loss), but I am paying attention now. What a truly gifted singer she is and I will certainly be looking for more.

Amy Lee, you are without a doubt, my most favorite vocalist. But this tops all. My little sister who died in 2010 had a similar sound as you and as you sing, I see my sister. Thank you for sharing your gift

The first time I have EVER listened to a Zeppelin cover all the way thru! BEAUTIFUL! Plant i'm sure is happy and impressed and i would loved to see his face the first time he heard it! MAGNIFCENT! and i listened to it TWICE back to back!

Amy Lee has a special ability to pull the soul out of a song and lay it bare for all to hear. She truly is a rare blend of amazing talent and raw ability. Her voice reaches you at every level.

I'm sitting here just shaking my head. I don't recall a more beautiful cover. Well done. The Nuance and Finesse in your vocals are just unbelievable.

There is no improving on Zeppelin, but there is finding new layers and depths of meaning. By the Gods! Thank you, Amy. You are a wonder.

Some people do like Mariah Carey though. I like some of her music in a way. Of course anyone is free to talk as if a singer they don't like is 100% objectively bad, but the truth is that that is a subjective thing. Mariah Carey is irrelevant here not because she is failing to be Amy Lee but because it isn't her goal to be Amy Lee in the first place. She's doing what she is trying to do, not failing at something else. She's playing a whole different sport.

Amy has a voice that can sing anything. Absolutely amazing lady. She is definitely on my list to see in concert.

I'm 62. Zep is my #1 fav. I never to this day heard anyone singing this. Till now. And I gotta say. "Well done". 😊

Her voice is simply breathtaking.

There is no denying that this chick has pipes and seriously does this song justice with a subtle beauty that is ironically hard to miss........Enjoy this stunning rendition of one of the greatest Led Zeppelin songs of all time....

Amy can sing anything! I've been a Zeppelin fan for more than 50 years, and this is my favourite cover. I come back and listen to it whenever I feel really down, and it lifts me up.

Her soul is such much lighter than before! Having a kid really changed her for the best! You can see she's no longer in a dark place. That's why Ev is on a break. Ev is mostly about being borken. About sadness, about loneliness, about the feeling of uselessness. I thikn Evanescence will eventually come back, but it will be completely different than what we're used to.

+Vasco Silva you are right, except for they already used 2011's as their first album with more inspirational/freedom songs, instead of depressing, What You want and new way to bleed are good freedom anthems among other songs in the same album. I think she will continue to use more the Evanescence's lyrics and tunes to write all her frustrations, worries, anger, thoughts of things going on in the world, etc to keep the band alive. She already said they will continue touring next year in festivals and some mini tours around the world. So I think that by doing all of this, it will bring to her the inspirations she needs to put another Evanescence record out maybe for 2017.

I highly doubt she would do this unfortunately. She is doing these covers to distance her solo career as much as she can to Ev so that would not be a right move. That would be awesome tho

holy shit. I have loved this song for over four decades and yet this somehow takes it to a level I never imagined possible. WOW.

I have to admit.....I came into this with a lot of skepticism and left a believer. Superb job!

Love how her beautiful voice just soars through the air as if an angel was singing it. Breath taking.

Stunning! Your vocal range is above and beyond amazing, and the quality of your voice, I'm sure, makes angels cry. At the very least, it silences them into awe.
