He loves me even if I doubt it myself sometimes of why he loves me!!!!Even here in the English world that's a tough thing to have to live up to:being"perfect" when you're a preacher's kid. I live in Amish Country (I am not Amish tho) and I can say that this is really how life is for them.. Sadly the women do chores, birth babies & listen to their husbands 24/7 that's their whole lives. Many Amish are leaving nowadays, they're tired of being suppressed.

Shutting your kids up may seem like a good way to protect them from harm but as we can see from these shows it teaches them nothing about their moral accountability. Yup. People get so caught up in the rules of their Christian cult. Christianity is a cult. Being Christian has a completely different meaning now. Back in the days it meant something..it meant you followed Christ. Now its just people who use 3 or 4 parts of some verses as slogans, their congregation buildings are full of people who ignore the laws of God...especially celebrating man made holidays like xmas, Halloween, etc. They use the excuse that they are saved by grace blah blah. Jesus said he was not here to abolish the law. But since it isnt convenient to them and they want people to give more money to their crap congregation.

I'm also a preacher daughter but in my denomination I was not allowed to have any choice at all !!! So I had to run away. Yes, children must obey parents but when they grow up, they take responsibility and have choice too. Most religions make the same mistake, which brings into this. Kid's should be taught me shows what is good and what it bad so they can see the difference long before they reach their age when they cab run away to something they never seen or seen so little and have no idea what's that. Also, youth must have choice to date before decide if they want to marry this person or not. Choice is what is taking from those community, that's why there are such problems. Teach kids to make right choices from their childhood.
