Recordando que va a hacer 31 años que estuve en Barcelona, tan bonita y maravillosos recuerdos. Extraordinarios Carreras y Brightman, que belleza 💕🎼💫🤗 Emocionante hasta las lágrimas.

30 años han pasado y no ha existido otro tema en los juegos Olímpicos que te erice tanto la piel como Amigos para siempre..un himno Universal y un canto a la hermandad en dos extraordinarias voces.

Watching it on May of 2021, with tears in my eyes. A timeless song. I think this song must be played during every Olympic Games.

I grafuated high school in ‘92. We sang this song at graduation ceremony.. 32 years later many of us are still friends.

Sarah looks so so beautiful here. Like a goddess. Jose is elegant as ever. Beautiful song and great chemistry. Unforgetable!

Sorry but I disagree. Pavarotti singing Nessum Dorma in the Olympics is by far the best presentation and it was the last one of him, so it's even more important. But I love José and Sarah, they did amazing too.

I loved this song in ‘92 when I was 14 and still love it now. I could listen to this on repeat over and over and never tire of it. Great song. Lovely to see the footage of it at the olympics.

Barcelona 92 has been the best olympiad that I ever seen. It was certainly a well organized and planned event to catch the attention for seven years old child. All the culture, music and arts manifesting the spanish´s feelings in the biggest sport event...

Barcelona 92 marcó un antes y un después de las Olimpiadas... Para mi tiene un significado importante... Sin duda la mejor olimpiada de todos los tiempos.

Espectacularmente magistral, maravilloso, con estos dos grandes cantantes que marcaron para la historia y a la vez considerado los mejores juegos olímpicos en su historia.

La primera vez que escuché esta hermosa canción fue justamente hace un año en el 2019 en un evento de la unesco en la escuela normal de ixtacala en Tlalnepantla estado de México... Un arreglo que los normalistas realizaron para dicho evento... Fue algo que me marcó y me resulta muy bello y emotivo como la canción lo dice en sus estrofas, algo que me ha marcado de por vida... Verla en esta versión para los juegos olímpicos me transporta a ese mágico momento... Sin duda algo para recordar ❤️ en el 92 yo cumplía 3 años de edad jaja

Jose Carreras - so debonair and handsome! And in fine voice too! Great song written by Sarah’s then husband, Andrew Lloyd Webber. Jose, then recently recovered from leukemia, had been asked by the Spanish government to coordinate all the music aspects of the Olympics. One of the things he did was ask his friend, Lloyd-Webber to write a song for the closing ceremonies. Of course, as a tribute to Jose’s miraculous recovery, he obliged immediately. Such an unforgettable effort by the two singers and the composer. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

As a child back in '92, I remember watching this and seeing adults with tears in their eyes, wondering why they were sad. Now, as an adult, I realize they were not sad; they were hopeful and optimistic. The Cold War had just ended, and many nations around the world were opening up; the future was indeed bright and promising for many.
