-Austria was before germany by the way, -that pronunciation was unrecognizable - the military numbers soo wrong. - Hungary is around 7 place in all time gold medals at olympics and first in medals per capita if you don't count bahamas who had 1 medal but just 33 000 people or something. -for the male female rate, its just more possible choice.

Funfact: Hungary got the most olimpic medals per capita (and also the most Nobel-prizes per capita *over 1mill population) It's a quite small and sadly underrated country, but has many great achivements of its own, which are overlooked in the 'big-world's eye' 😅

I have to say - not to be demeening, but - the Austrian military spending can NOT be compared to our eastern neighbours. Austrias wages and everything else are just so much higher! Most of our neighbours do not have the euro or at least not as long as we do and ao much more.
