The Brits are masters of innuendo. It started with early radio comedy. There were strict rules on what you could broadcast, so comedians used innuendo to get around it.

@@wrorchestra1 Absolutely agree but the funny thing is, I was born in 1953 yet I managed to work out what most of the palari meant, although not gay and with no known gay relatives. It always surprised me that the executives and censors couldn’t.
Julian Clary, the man talking about the pantomime at the end. was infamous for innuendos. I remember on TV quiz he was presenting there was a section where this young kid wanted his parents to allow him his own key to the house but they wouldn't. The kid already had a key ring but no key, and Julian - dressed flamboyantly as was his way in those days - said There's nothing worse than an empty ring. Luckily the kid had no idea what the innuendo was but everyone else did.
Yes, this is daytime British TV way before the "watershed" when swearing or sex references are permitted on TV! The chemistry between Holly and Phillip is great and Gino's unintentional innuendos are hilarious, too. A muff in the UK is both a warm open ended tube to put your hands in and...lady parts!
“Im going to take you right behind there” “Are you now?” They are a married couple also.
This Morning is a British daytime topical talk show on ITV, debuting in 1988 (when it was originally presented by Richard & Judy) and featuring a range of different presenters through the years. It was pretty much our version of Good Morning America that has remained a constant on British television through the decades...

I remember when Holly and Phillip presented the show still drunk from the night before as they had been to an award show and were out drinking until they had to go to work the next morning and were still wearing the same clothes from the award ceremony lol
Holly Willoughby is just so easy on the eyes. Great sense of humour and a beautiful person inside and out. Her and Phillip Schofield have such a great time on that show. British TV is great when you can have content like this.
Thank you for watching this, us Brits really needed this Laugh right about now. Innuendo is the best form of comedy because it makes your brain fill the gap and your own nervousness anxiety causes the laugh. Best of British 😂🤣🇬🇧👌
Thanks Beard! I love British TV-shows but this is and has been the only daytime show I have been watching for years (not usually live) or just running in the back ground. Those two have been my favorite "couple" and Gino of course as a "house guest". She is the "Queen" / darling of the show! Phil and especially Gino knows how to "play" her like a fiddle😂😂😍😍. This is their best gig together and Gino has quite good shows also, like with Gordon Ramsey and Fred Sirieix`s road trip (cause they came to Finland and Gordon had to make meatballs being naked in a Sauna with a Finnish chef, woman, and as an "arrogant bastard" he is, he made the mistake to ridicule a Finnish Lady`s soccer team and they took him to a swamp and kicked his ass on a swamp-football match). Yes, it is a real thing, we have hosted the "World Cup"-tournament for years. As for the Sauna World Cup, but when the Russian who tried to beat the Finnish World Champion died, we kinda had to cancell that. Nokia Mobile Phone and Nokia rubber boots-throwing World Cups, so how far can you throw a Nokia phone or boot. "Wife" carrying- World Cup, where the prizes are the woman`s weight measured in Beer, so kind a paradox😂😂😍😍Sorry, I got carried away.
The best episode they ever did was the morning after the NTA awards, they won the award for best day time show and along with 2 other hosts that won another category they stayed up all night celebrating, then came straight to the studio to do the show the next morning, they were still in the clothes from the night before and very drunk, the hole day was chaos watching them go from drunk to hung over and dying it was brilliant 🤣

sometimes it's not the innuendo that's the funny thing, it's realisation and laughter that makes it funny (at least to me) but definitely recommend looking for more of these, there should be a handful of videos of them, the show has been going for what feels like forever lol and check out the best of Gino D'Acampo (that Italian chef) on the show, not always innuendos, but the translation and the banter between him and the hosts has produced some funny moments as well
You'll probably like clips from the show The Chase, where the producers deliberately word the questions to make the host Bradley Walsh break out in a giggling fit.

Holly Willoughby has been on British TV for over a decade... Started on kids TV and done lots of shows. She's most known for being a Co host on Keith Lemon's show which really brought out and showed her funny side

Those two are a national treasure but gino tops it off.
Omg .. thanks to whoever introduced you to our morning show .. Holly is a precious one
They are so funny. The same with the Aussies morning-shows. Hilarious!
A Fisherman's friend is a lozenge which is super super strong and is pretty much guaranteed to blast open your nostrils but is way too much for ordinary mortals. Also, I think a lot of seeds have been set for Holly. She used to be a bra model
ROFL - 'still to come'...... had me cryin!!
That laughter @12:12 you can hear the set manager, the director, the camera crew all laughing...
Holly is actually really smart she just has her 'moments' 😂
Phil and Holly have worked together for years on a couple of different shows but this is their bread and butter. Great innuedo has been the stalwart of British comedy for years. Yo ushould check out clips from a series of films called the 'Carry on' films. My favorite is Carry on Cleo which was a send up of the Burton/Taylor film Cleopatra and filmed on the same set. One great line is when guards try to assasinate Ceaser and he comes running in crying 'Infamy, Infamy, they've all got it in for me'.

Innuendo has been a hallmark of British Comedy since Shakespeare's time. The BBC for many years had the policy that anything clean on the page could be spoken on TV or radio. This produced the best innuendo on the radio series _I'm Sorry I Haven't a Clue_. Search for _I'm Sorry I Haven't a Clue-The Complete Samantha_ and give it a listen.

My girlfriend asked me for an innuendo. So I gave her one.
Try watching Celebrity Juice, Holly was a team captain, hosted by the bearded guy in the 2nd clip, Keith Lemon. It's a few levels above this as it's late night.
Another great tonic Mr Beard. Thanks!
Amazing reaction my friend!!....You are the right person to make this insane reaction video and give us your opinion about this incredible singer...In 2017, the music world was shocked by the bursting onto the scene of a 22-year-old singer named Dimash Kudaibergen, who performed on the famous Chinese competition show for professional singers called “The Singer”... It was just it was necessary for this young man to make his first appearance, making a cover of one of the most difficult songs in the world, a famous French composition called "S.O.S. D'un Terrien En Détresse", to be considered from that moment on as the best singer in the entire planet....No one in the musical field had ever seen a human being, being able to reach vocal ranges above 7 octaves and several semitones, that is, all 88 keys of a digital piano, which reaches a little more than 7 octaves and as if that weren't enough, sing the more than 12 languages...Since then all kinds of experts (Vocal coachs, singers, musicians, analysts, singing teachers, youtubers, reactors, etc.) have dedicated themselves to reviewing their presentations to try to understand how someone can sing this way...The incredible thing is that that presentation in China was in 2017 but what Dimash has done in these 5 years is to further improve his wide vocal range, which is currently practically above of the 8 octaves... The Covid pandemic stopped his concerts worldwide, all with tickets sold in just seconds, via the internet, but at the same time it ended up catapulting him to the top of popularity worldwide...Anyway, since I think you are one of those reactors who have not yet met this impressive singer, here is the link of that presentation in China in 2017, with the song S.O.S. and I would like you to mention my name as the person who recommended him to you...You have to be prepared because your channel will explode with an avalanche of views, comments and new subscribers....I leave you one more recent video than the others, so it does not have the same number of views as the previous ones, which have millions of views, but it is a more complete video, with an intro, subtitles in several languages and with the improved quality of audio and sound....kzread.info/dash/bejne/lHiMlaihndy0kcY.html
Good morning is a live Tv show so when things go wrong they just have to carry on broadcasting which can be brilliant Tv.
Love your reaction vids. Makes me smile.
I was once at a church meeting where a lady remarked to the vicar, "It's cold today. You'll need your willy warmer!" She meant to say winter warmer!
Julian Clary, as brilliant as always!
Schofield: You have a fantastic entrance. Clary (pauses): Thank you very much, and the show is wonderful too. Clary to Willoughby: You need to suck on a Fisherman's Friend (which is a powerfully strong lozenge, still available today). We Brits love our smut.
Love Julian Clary , he is extremely funny ,appears a lot in Pantomimes There are quite a lot of Holly and Phil ,innuendo compilations from This morning on youtube.

I remember years ago chatting to some workmates one morning. I wasn’t feeling well. One of the guys asked “are you okay “. I said “I’ve not been feeling myself lately “ . Awkward pause. He choked. I blushed and looked down waiting for floor to open up and swallow me 😞😞😞
When a woman has a hairy area between her legs we usually say "she has a hairy muff", also Julian Clary is the guy who (ON LIVE TELEVISION) when giving out rewards said that (AND I QUOTE) "I have just been out the back, fisting Norman Lemont" (who was at the time an MP in the house of commons (parliament)
I love your reactions mate, make me laugh even more 🤣

A Muff ist a Hand warmer which commonly used Back in the day by Ladies. It is also a slang term for the 'lady parts'
The best thing is this show is live! 😂
I'd like to add to me earlier comment. Phillip, the silver haired gent, has been on our TV screens for decades. I'm in my mid-40s and he used to present children's television when I was a small boy. So that's a pretty decent career run. And probably why he can get away with being a bit rude and naughty on daytime TV. Haha
These clips are hilarious but your laughing makes it so much funnier. Luckily you can get away with things on British TV that would be frowned upon over the pond.
One of Gino’s most famous clips is where he says, if his grandmother was a bicycle she’d be called a bike.

You can tell when Holly has lost it when the voice suddenly becomes very high pitched
This morning is great cause they get into laughing fits over this stuff often.
12:15 - *NAILED IT!!!!!!!!!!!!*
Best innuendo I've heard was on Top Gear James May saying "She's basically saying you've given me the baby now get in the back" and Jeremy's reaction is just gold
This daytime show is know for innuendo's especially Phil and Holly the main hosts.
There are loads of clips with these two. If you search this morning funniest clips it’s been part of our mornings for generations 😉👍
You need to check out British Carry On films from the 50s - 70s. They are packed with smutty innuendos and double entendres, which I am guessing is right up your street!
ITV is usually considered the 'low brow' tv channel in the UK, it was the first comercial channel, and This Morning is a daily magazine programme that has been running for decades. It became famous when a couple called Richard and Judy presented it and has got more extravagant since.

Yeah, its a morning show, Holly and Phil have gone to do the show still absolutely pissed from the night before, still waring the same stained clothes and not a wink of sleep. It was always after the award showd but it was 'This Morning' no day off till the weekend, so had no choice but go Into work live infront of millions. Such great viewing. 👍
Many years ago I had a tape recorder and friends came around to my house and started to record the conversation secretly and then played it back to them the things they said with out realizing what they had said had them in stiches .
Dude, I just come to hear your laugh & this was AAAWWWWESOME!
During that Tantric interview, I was thinking, "This isn't innuendo, they're actually talking about sex." Then, the guy said, "Still to come..." and I realized his unintentional reference.
This show is on every morning, and it goes out fully live with no safety delay.
KZread has lots of Phil and Holly's best bits, always funny 😁
Those 8-9am shows are generaly recorded very early in the morning so most of the hosts are exhausted and crack up about anything.
There is on youtube a video "Funny moments with Fern Britton and Phil Schofield". Please, watch it. Fern was a presenter before Holly and the chemistry between Fern and Phil is amazing. The challenge always was when one of them started laughing the other would follow.
You know, there's an old BBC saying. "Engage your brain before you open your mouth."
Julian Clary talking about his entrance is a great comedian
