The minute she finished hoof camp she was no longer a horse, that's a God damn marine.

That jockey wasn't lying about that horse being intelligent.

What Nick didn't mention is that Reckless was notorious for eating stuff like the campaign hat the Aussies gave her and one of her blankets and in cold nights in Korea she would sleep in the tents with the Marines Also when customs held Reckless they inferred that one of the diseases she might have was a STD which pissed the Marines off for questioning her honor

I wager the last one was just as much the Marines pissed at him questioning her honor as it was a 'what, PRECISELY, are you implying?' moment. Leading directly to the silently confirmed plan to add another unmarked grave to Doolan Canyon.

So I work with horses for a living and here's a crazy fact you probably never knew about horses: It's not uncommon to give horses beer to help muscle recovery after doing strenuous work. So when the Marines gave Sergeant Reckless beer it actually helped her. Now I can't comment on the mixed drinks or the amount of beer the Marines gave her but it wasn't all bad for Sergeant Reckless.😁😅

Another neat fact that many people may not realize is that even tho horses are herbivores they can and will eat meat if the opportunity presents itself. So the marines feeding her bacon and eggs (tho probably not the healthiest due to the grease) isn’t as strange as you might think.

I wouldn't want to do that hill with NO gear, let alone however much shit they want to load down on their "light" infantry. On one hand I'd love to see a movie about this, on the other hand it's most likely they'd F it up and Sergeant Reckless doesn't deserve that o7

The Lance Corporal Underground, like the E-4 Mafia, is fully capable of getting shit done very quickly when properly motivated such as in the case of Reckless or when told that they can't go home until the work is done.

She was a *little* horse, too. Closer to pony size.

She was a Mongolian, as in the horse breed, so while yes she was quite small at 14 hands she was also super sturdy. Probably also where she got her tenacity from.

Single ply needs to be abolished

Back when I worked at sonic in Denison Texas i don't remember if it was the California fire that burned most of the west coast or the one from up north but i remember the sky looked a little orange and you can vaguely smell smoke from Denison to Bells

I absolutely LOVE how when reactors that watches this video get to the point where leadership doesn't think the American public would want to pay to bring Reckless back to the US, everybody, whether their American or not, instantly agrees that _yes, yes they would absolutely pay to bring her home._ *Because she's a fucking war hero and she deserves to come home.*

He was not happy, so not happy that he actually made a video on it. I think for the end credit scene Nick actually made it a joke, for those of us have actually seen that video.

You’re exactly right, in the toilet paper rant video he mentioned he was actually working on the sgt.reckless video at beginning of his rant.

Every time I see a new Fat Electrician video I'm like "Why tf is this not a modern major motion picture?" Like the Eager Beavers for example, or Lewis Millett, or the DeHavlin Mosquito, these are all outstanding movie idea. Aimo, eh I dunno, it would be pretty funny I think. The Ghost of Battan I think would be another good one, or a modernized one for Jake McNeice.

@@raymurray3401 Well you know the movie the Dirty Dozen is based off him and his troops' exploits right? Only question is who would they get to play McNeice? Only good modern day action guy that comes to my mind is Chris Pratt, a lot of the other action stars would be too old to play the part.
