Jonah was able to make the fastest, strongest, top rugby players in the world look like college players. Men who played against him said it was like hitting a speedy brick wall when they came in contact with him. Off the field, he was so quietly spoken & humble. A real gentleman.

Jonah was not running in the end zone just for fun. Remember, in rugby after you score a try you take a conversion kick for extra points. If you can place the ball down under the posts then you take the kick directly in front of the post. If you score near the touch line (out of bounds line) you have to take the kick near the try line which makes the angle and distance very difficult. So, if you have time always run in the end zone towards the posts.

Because of his illness he once said that he never played feeling better than 80%. Imagine a 100% Jonah Lomu!

Are you f’ing serious??? That shit was only 80% ?!?!?!?! Holy coooooow!!!! I mean, the man was terrifying on field, and lovely off. What he did for Rugby globally was crazy, and only 80% ??? That just blows my mind !

Jonah took rugby to a new level. His mass + his speed had impacted alot of players. Physically lol. He was a giant.

A legend! That team back then I went to a few of their games best memories ever. Don’t think he would’ve went to NFL All Blacks jersey was the dream back then.

To get a better idea of Jonah Lomu's influence you guys should watch the movie 'Invictus', not to spoil the movie but it's about the true story of the rugby world cup and how south Africa prepared to play against Jonah plus tells the story of Nelson Mandela at that time. Great movie

Greetings from France. He was so quick, so agile and so powerfull, the only way to catch him was to go for the legs... sure, the problem with this method was it let the arms free to move and to pass the ball to a teammate. I remember the semi final France played against New Zealand in 99 at the world cup, was the greatest victory in french Rugby history... despite this, he managed to score two wonderfull tries on that day, tearing our defense apart both the time.

At that time he was young and already a leagend so much for making a cameo in a french movie (even if the movie it self was bad).

The reason for him continuing running inside the In-Goal Area (Endzone), is to touch the ball down close to the goal posts, in order to get a better position for the Conversion kick that follows a Try.

It doesn't say but he's 6'5 & 265lbs incase you're curious.
