What an incredible new band this is! Three-piece Amble, coming from Midlands and West of Ireland, got together only a year or so ago and have been releasing superb songs since then, most of them live recordings so that you can get a taste of what’s to come - their debut album is in the works and I personally can’t wait for it to be out.
There’s a fair amount of gigs coming up, which will follow the release of the new album in early 2024, “The Name, The Face and Body” - all sold out!
They released their first single in 2023, Mariner Boy, and what followed was pretty incredible - they reached over 50,000 monthly listeners in no time and 1 million streams soon after. One of their first gigs in Dublin sold out 5 months in advance!
Their music is definitely folk-inspired but merges pure folk with an indie-pop sound - it sounds very polished, modern and familiar.
