Amber Heard: Johnny Depp slapped me for asking about Winona Ryder tattoo | LiveNOW from FOX

Amber Heard, testifying in her defamation trial against her ex-husband Johnny Depp, told the jury about the patterns in their relationship where arguments would quickly escalate. Heard called the relationship "volatile" and she would feel both so loved and so distanced from him. Heard described one incident where Depp allegedly slapped her multiple times for asking about his Winona Ryder tattoo, which was later changed to "Wino forever."

One thing I’m noticing is she is scanning the court room..I’m assuming she is looking around to see how her story is being received. From my experience, if someone has been abused and telling about traumatic events-the last thing they want to do is scan a room to see everyone. Folks who have been abused normally look down or pick a person to connect with when they talk. This isn’t her behavior at all

It's interesting that Dr.Curry's testimony was exactly bringing on point what we now see while her speech and acting like it's for a film. There is hardly no true single emotion in her face except anger and the way she is telling her story is too quickly and smooth like reading from a script and trying to mirror what she is reading. I hope and pray that the jury is wise enough to see through what is going on here. 😔

After she cut his finger off, punched him in the face, spit on him, hit him with a can of red bull, stated that nobody would ever believe him about her own abusive behavior, publically stating (after being awarded $7m in damages) all the money won in court would go to charity then keeping most of it for herself - it becomes difficult to see this as anything but the last chapter in the book of lies written by a very sick woman who took a sh1t in the real victims bed.

I can understand not crying when talking about abuse. It can be the trauma response of disassociation. I do it. My ex-husband abused me in everyway imaginable and left me disabled and suffering from C-PTSD. It is extremely rare that I will cry while discussing it because I tend to dissassociate and shut down. I used to call it "going hollow." There are signs when someone does it, though. This, however, appears performative, as if she is trying to cry and failing, not as if she is shutting down so she does not cry.

I've experienced traumatic events with evil people. And I tell you something: I don't remember any detail about the moment before it happened because it was daily normal stuff. What I do remember is the moment it was happening and the thing I remember the most is what came after. The feelings, the dissapointment, the sadness, the walking back home alone helpless, the laying down in bed alone, the not getting any apology, the look on their faces being proud of what they did to me the day after... And here is Amber recalling every single detail of her having normal conversations and NOT REMEMBERING WHAT SHE DID WHEN SHE TOOK THE CAR TO GET HOME. I don't buy it, this doesn't make sense. She just didn't prepare that part for her speech.

I would agree with that! When I am sharing a traumatic story I find myself disconnecting from the one listening. I avoid looking at them , often looking straight ahead. @Kyra I agree fully, speaking from experience, the reason to why you cant have strong eye contact while talking about these types of memories is because you feel a deep rooted "shame" and "disgust" with yourself for being so "weak"... And of course everyone react different in some regards, but in this case? I can with 110% certainty say that she is acting, actually she shows more signs of being a manipulative abuser...

Even the best actors would hugely struggle to seem believable if they had to maintain an intricate story for hours and hours of questioning. I'm in script writing, and I can tell you that actors depend on it, CLING to it, if you will, to guide them. If you don't have a reliable script and you're improving, and based on a TOTAL LIE, you're going to seem fake. Even Meryl Streep or Christian Bale would struggle to do this. I kind of believe she was slapped too. I think their relationship was sick, they were both violent with each other. I’ve seen relationships like that with my own eyes. The thing is..even though they are same, in every relationship of this kind, there is always one of them admitting and the other one blaming the other. This is also what is happening here: fighting fairly, hitting, beating, punching, slapping. Only that one of them is silent about it and gracefuly bare the fact that their relationship is sick, and the other one screams about abuse. While Depp kept silent about the finger cut and punches he took (he only spoke about that years after her claims), Heard hurried and made sure she is the first one to accuse. She might exaggerate but..in ,my opinion, they were equally fighting. Even so, it’s unfair what she’s doing. As long as he kept silent and never stained her image, She should have been the same and never trash his image.

She got slapped softly (it didn’t physically hurt she said) in the face after she probably insulted him. And even though she describes this as a horrible experience, when Johnny confronts her about getting punched by her in the face, she denies this and says she only slapped him and that he shouldn’t be a baby about it (recorded).
