It's literally just the words of a total hack. There's multiple rules for mental health professionals that this guy broke. A) Do NOT let emotional bias sway your evaluation, and be professional. Guy calls Johhny an idiot, and was clearly quite emotional all through his testimony. And a major one: B) You can't give an expert testimony towards an evaluation of someone's mental health in court without ever having met the person 0_0 At BEST, you can come in and provide information on atypical behaviors of an abuser in a very general sense. But this guy spoke with such certainty of Johnny Depp's mental state without even meeting him.... Yeah, this was a waste. If anything, this "psychiatrist" actually HURT Heard's team, because of how bottom of the barrel they had to sink in order to try to get a professional to back their claims up. By finding one of the most.....unprofessional, "professional" they could.

Yeah, even Depp's expert says this man can't give a professional opinion because of that lack of Depp's consent, and because he hasn't gone through any proper process to formulate those opinions in the first place. Even if the court approved his largely speculative testimony it doesn't mean he actually knows anything. Much like the other witnesses.

JD is narcissistic and lack empathy… how can he say that while JD helped so many of Amber’s friends and let them live in his penthouses for free? This whole testimony pisses me off. P.S. I heard the reason why JD did not get a psychological evaluation is that he did not claim his mental status being the reason of actions while Amber claimed she has PTSD therefore she needed to be evaluated by both side.

I find it hilarious that all Amber’s team is doing is focusing on Johnny’s drug & alcohol use and trying to break down his character. Shouldn’t they be proving that Amber’s a domestic violence victim?! None of this is phasing the jury. Johnny admitted to his drug and alcohol use. He’s not on trial for that. This is a defamation trial against Amber Heard and she admitted that the op-ed “wasn’t just about Johnny,” therefore admitting that it’s about Johnny. Case closed! I watched it all go down in real time. We all know Johnny’s career took a major hit because of her. Case closed. Johnny wins.

It's a psychological tactic used for a variety of reasons, in this case, it's being used to gain a sympathetic view. However, given the context the jury has at this point it would be very likely that they'd notice these type of things considering Johnny's witnesses did no such thing.

Not to mention, BPD is not necessarily easy to diagnose, and unless you are an expert on BPD itself, it is unlikely you can diagnose BPD. Many doctors won't work with a patient who has BPD unless they have specialized in that area because it comes with a lot of instability and can be difficult if you do not have the training. It's difficult enough for the person with BPD (I have BPD btw, and participate in a support group for people with BPD and people who have a loved one with BPD. So this is speaking from personal experience and what I've been told by doctors while seeking someone who could treat me).

There is a guy who acted with Amber in a film and he says she’s the nicest person and when you are with her she makes you feel like you are the most special person but it’s an act, she has a dark side. He says she was doing coke when they did that film because she pulled a baggy of it out of her purse so she perjured herself when she testified she hadn’t done coke since her teens. He also said her then girlfriend came to the movie to see her and he went over to the studio rented apartment Amber was staying in the morning after her girlfriend showed up and it was trashed because her and Amber got in a fight because the girl friend found out Amber had brought a stripper home with her one night, this is the girl friend she was arrested for hitting at the airport but the charges were never filed. He said the place was wrecked and Amber just blew it off like it was nothing. He also said Amber was not out as a lesbian, she told people on the set that it was her “friend” but he says she confided in him that they were lovers and that she planned to marry her in Canada, so if she’s telling people she is a lesbian, why is she getting involved with these famous and wealthy men, breaking up with them and then going right back to women?

The level of gaslighting from Amber's witnesses is astounding. This guy was a total disaster. He was only speaking about Depp's addictions and outbursts but won't talk about Amber's substance use in general AND her use of drugs around her husband who was struggling with addiction. He also completely ignores Amber's violence, outbursts, gaslighting, and controlling nature. All caught on audio. Not sure why his lawyers didn't drive all that in yet. They're really missing important stuff. It's all so one sided when her witnesses speak and they speak as if they were there. Everything the psychiatrist said about Depp applied to Amber as well. Everything he explained was Amber to a tee. And then he brings up Narcissistic personality traits. I'm speechless. The irony is heavy. You mean Amber? With her need for praise and attention and control? Gaslighting and manipulating? Can never be wrong? Paints herself a saint even though she's not? Pathological lying? Doesn't actually donate to charity but lies that she does to get the praise unlike Depp who actually has donated and does charity work? I couldn't even believe my ears with these doctors. He said he "was told it was vomit." So her team tries to feed their witnesses false information. Never even spoke to Depp. And his behavior and faces were so bizzare. His level of arrogance and condescending nature. Absolute twilight zone.

Actually, an expert witness is one with extensive knowledge on a matter. They can elaborate on all they want on that subject, and as psychology and neurology are such subjective/nuanced, they can speak on ends to get to a point. The last expert was a hand surgeon, so he could have talked about the complex anatomy of a hand all day simply to explain the x-rays if he wanted to.... That said, what I find really sad is that psychology, in part, is the study of understanding... and being an expert witness is a job of giving that understanding. So it is baffling to me that you wouldn't try to make philosophical debates as simple to understand as possible so that every juror would be able to understand. I dunno if this will be taken as blasphemy yet, but that is one of the strong points of Jordan Peterson; simplify and build. Don't baffle or rattle off arguments until the foundation is made, and stick to the subject.

Hang in there Johnny! These symptoms are also Post Abuse Symptoms: PTSD (memory loss, hippocampus shrinkage, cognitive functioning issues), Cluster B Abuse victims are also plagued with intrusive thoughts and feeling that may lead to substance abuse (or increased substance abuse) to self sooth. Victims also suffer from suicidal ideation, toxic shame, extreme confusion (they have been gaslit for so long by the abuser, they end up gaslighting themselves). We scream into the air how much we are sick of ourselves, how much we hate ourselves before we know what has happened. There’s not enough understanding and help out there for cluster B abuse survivors (and even less for the male victims). I’m starting to believe help has to come from other survivors, perhaps it’s an inside job. The impulsive reactions this doc is talking about can also explain reactive abuse (“battered Womens syndrome”). We also become hyper vigilant as a protective mechanism bc we never know where or when the next attack will happen. We float back and forth from shock to terror. All survivors suffer from cognitive dissonance and this is very confusing and painful. Breaking the trauma bond is one of the most difficult things I’ve ever done in my life. And there are always more to follow to break from our family of origin. We survivors are watching u Johnny! We are cheering for u! It breaks our hearts you had to live thru this. Your testimony was healing for us to watch. We see u breaking the silence. (When I say breaking the silence, u know what I mean…not just awareness….I’m talking about the daily flashbacks we live with, the silent cry inside our soul where they gutted us and buried us alive. Keep fighting please and I/we will too! Keep pulling and climbing out of that muddy grave..the slipping back after a difficult climb is normal..part of the process. You’re not alone! We’re climbing with u..So proud of u 🥹!) You spoke the words most of us never get to say. You’re our hero! 🫶

And by the way...I have a history of Substance Abuse and have been in Recovery since 2018. And am a Survivor of both SA and DV, which both contributed to me want to just check out and stop my severe panic attacks from having PTSD. SO I REALLY DON'T APPRECIATE THIS BROAD, GENERALIZED TESTIMONY. MY FATHER WAS EXTREMELY VIOLENT AND I WENT THE TOTAL OPPOSITE WAY. CONTINUING TO TAKE ON MEN I THINK I COULD "HELP" OR "FIX" CONTINUALLY GETTING TRAUMATIZED AND ABUSED OVER AND OVER UNTIL FINALLY GETTING HELP AND FINDING A MORE PASSIVE, KIND, SWEET PARTNER...BUT STILL HE WASN'T HEALTHY OR WHOLE AND ENDED UP TAKING HIS OWN LIFE. SO FINALLY I WENT AWAY FOR AN ENTIRE YEAR NOT JUST FOR SUBSTANCE ABUSE, WHICH WAS ONLY FOR A MONTH. BUT THE REST WAS FOR TRAUMA, PTSD, ABUSE, ETC......SO I COULD GET HELP, FIND SOME CONFIDENCE, MY OWN VOICE, ETC...... IT IS CRAP TRYING TO SAY IF YOU ARE A SUBSTANCE ABUSER.... ESPECIALLY ONE WHO GREW UP IN A VIOLENT HOUSEHOLD. THEN YOU ARE GOING TO BE ONE TOO. SO "F"ING OFFENDED. I AM SO PISSED OFF AT THIS MAN'S "OPINIONS" THAT I DO WANT TO ACT OUT AND BE VIOLENT AND PUNCH HIM IN HIS CREEPY ASS FACE. THIS IS THE ONLY SEGMENT OF THE ENTIRE 6 WEEKS OF THE TRIAL I MISSED AND THOUGHT IT WOULD BE FUN TO GO BACK AND WATCH THEM THROUGH YOU. BUT AM SO MAD I AM NOT EVEN LAUGHING OR FINDING HIM COMICAL LIKE I THOUGHT I WOULD. SHE REALLY MUST BE BROKE IF THIS IS ALL SHE COULD AFFORD.

The fun thing about the "paid by the hour" thing is that both sides of this case are on a timer, so getting a witness to waste time is a bad tactic. Not to mention that they seem to completely ignored Amber Heard's substance abuse. Combining 3 or more substances, meanwhile there is recording of her (her own secret recording of the staff and herself) speaking to Johnny Depp's then head of Security, Jerry Judge (?) during the aftermath of the incident in Australia where Johnny lost his finger. She comes to him like "I found these baggies of coke, well they're empty now." And goes on to tell him she never did any coke, he was hiding it from her, but also states "there was coke laying everywhere." So she didn't know Johnny had this coke, but also it was laying everywhere. And then she goes on to say "I was only popping Xanax, Adderall, Ecstacy, and hallucinogens." Is that not mixing at least 3 substances (forget about the drinking she also said she was partaking in).

This is why the defense asked him about all of his experience and accolades, and why the plaintiff tried to find weaknesses in it - Experts can only opine about things that fall within their realm of expertise, and before their testimony it has to be determined what they are an expert in exactly. Heard's team tried to enter him as an expert on IPV, but Depp's team was able to call that into question enough that the judge ruled in their favor and pulled it back to psychology and trauma in general.
