I was working for an engineering firm, producing large diameter cast iron rolls for use in Offset Metal Sheet printing machines. They would buy 'spun/cast drainage pipes' and cut them down (we had a big pile of chopped off ends, for the scrap man). Turned ends were heat/shrunk into the fully machined 'pipe' and.... There you have it 👍 tooSavvy

The 3M-950 filters for breathing gases and incandescent dust. Pajamas, sorry, I meant to say: Fire retardant clothing... etc. Yup. Cuz all this, it is no longer possible to continue working like in the 19th century, right? (I'm using the SARCASM, Ok?).

This process appeared to have been carried out in a disorderly manner using tools from a bygone era. However, it is a finesse that meets the needs and resources available. What amazes me the most is the centrifugal casting, probably of cast iron, of a thick-walled sleeve. The mere production of the charge is thought-provoking, because there was no air compressor in sight. The assembly, at its ends, of rollers also arouses admiration during the devices used! Doesn't know what angular grooving of the shaft sleeve is for? Greetings and congratulations 👌.

I'd never higher them, but over there they'd be considered geniuses.
