I’m Japanese American and was born in Japan and raised in America. I was stationed in both Japan and Okinawa in the 1970’s and 80’s while in the Air Force. I would love to go back and visit places like this, it looks so Omoshiroi and Oshii!!!

What an incredible location. As an Italian I can honestly say this is some top notch food, so delicious!

All of the food looks delicious and the location itself is very beautiful. I hope to visit one day to try it. Some unusual combinations that are not traditional but I think works well. Like adding a poached egg to spaghetti bolognese - great idea!

I've been watching food oriented clips, since we could stream on a computer. THIS restaurant has more going on than anything I've ever seen in 'restaurant' form. I mean. It's ridiculous how many 'stations' there are. It's like a restaurant, a picnic, a wedding with the cherry blossoms. I wanted to see a cute Japanese kid, with a long sweater enjoying the premises and of course, there was one too. It looks like too much of a good thing. How many restaurants embody 'festive' like this, without a live band? I know people, who are into covering the gamut as far as cooking goes, and none of them are the 'festive'/'party' type. This place has some serious spirit to it.

Ristorante italiano? Sì, è vero che c'è la pizza, ma tutti gli altri piatti non sono italiani! In Italia uno chef che preparasse quelle cose verrebbe licenziato immediatamente... Da noi le cucine dei diversi paesi vengono preparate da chef che provengono da quei paesi; non troverete mai un ristorante giapponese con chef e cuochi italiani...

Insomma non ha importanza che siano o no italiani, magari hanno studiato imparato la cucina italiana, comunque in questo caso è diciamo un ristorante italiano del tipo americano! Piatti molto diversi da quelli originali....e sopratutto.....la pasta non va mai servita col formaggio, il formaggio lo mette il cliente a tavola. Ci sono persone (io ad esempio) che il formaggio fa schifo, in America più di una volta non ho mangiato la pasta perché la servivano sempre col formaggio...bleah!!! Anche sulla pizza il formaggio grattugiato va solo sulla casereccia, almeno dalle mie parti
