🤣Wonder how many times someone has done that in his presence, has to be a lot!! We were in Stowe last year and the von Trapps built a resort there because the mountains reminded them of Austria 😀 How’s the new house??! Are you guys all moved in?

@@wanderingwithwine We are getting there! We have found some really beautiful pieces in the Mercatinis dell’usato and thank goodness for lkea and Amazon! When you guys move here, chrome has a website translation feature that is super useful if you’re trying to figure out what to buy online. Neighbors are wonderful. We will be here spring and fall until we move here full-time so let us know if you’re in the Tuscany area, we’d love to meet up!

The translation is a great feature - we use it often when we are researching because so many sites we wander are in Italian, it is helping our Italian too. So, so exciting!! What a price ! So my nonna Lucia is from Ascoli Piceno Marche. She had so much fun looking down on the rest of the family who were from Abruzzo thus more Southern . Thanks for coming back to a more affordable home. It’s fun to visit the more expensive homes but for those of us serious about finding our home in Italy, the ones priced under $100K are more doable. One thing not mentioned, or added to the price, are fees and taxes which can add another 4K.😁 Appreciate all the info you provide. It’s top-notch!

Hi Anne!! We totally get it, and try to stick around $150k or less but sometimes the region and amenities dictate the price. We might have a splurge property every once in a while but it won’t be the norm for us. Yes, you’re right… we only talk about the listing price, which is usually negotiable, but taxes, fees, etc., the agent can provide. Thanks so much🥰 Appreciate you visiting with us 🇮🇹❤️

This property is in my top two that you have shown so far. The other is the Sardinia property. I was happy for the gentleman who bought it but sad that it's off the market. There is so much potential with this property just like you guys said, especially for the price! Love it!!

I think you miss the point of Italy when you give times to the vet etc... Those people live on a different clock than most countries, maybe Spain and France are close. Everything shuts down from noon to 4, so everyone works like 4 hours per day. They say they go back to work after dinner, a nap, and some amore? They are all full, a couple glases of vino, just got laid; and they are ready to work? You guys are a hoot, I enjoy watching you having a good time showing us all a good time. You do find some nice properties, I like the bonus props at the end. Maybe show some in town, traditional townhouse props that are very affordable. Like $50k range.

Hi Kelly 🤣🤣🤣 You’re right, it’s a different way of life but we think it is important to know how far things are to the properties we feature. We prefer to be closer to the important amenities and services. We will see what we can do! $50k in town, depending on the area, can tough and usually doesn’t have the charm we like or needs renos 🙅🏻‍♀️ This week’s One-Minute Wander fits the bill though. If our main isn’t in town, we try to show something in town with the OMW. We like to have some kind of Italian charm though, we aren’t white walls and white ceiling kind of people, we have to have something 😆 The Puglia OMW we had a few weeks ago didn’t have the usual charm we like, but it had a bit of old-school stuff. Last week’s town had so many options that we put extra links in the video description 😃 It’s hit or miss.
