Built a huge house in 35 minutes!! From the beginning to the end! TIMELAPSE
I bought a plot of land with an old house that could not be lived in. I had literally a couple of months to build a new one. Look what I got out of it!

I learned to build using concrete block and cement while on mission trips to Cuba. In Cuba many houses are built with flat roofs and you’ll often see rebar sticking up. If a family needs more room they can build up easier than getting more land. Great job. Darlington, South Carolina USA

Unfortunately, the costs of construction materials at this time are practically prohibitive, and not to mention the space or, properly speaking, the land on which to build, worse... more expensive still... But there is no harm that lasts 100 years, says the Said, so everything will improve. Greetings, dude!

@ Where is home for you? In Canada blocks might be used for a basement but usually it is poured concrete. The rest is "stick built"...2x4's, 2x6 etc. My apartment also uses them as that was the practice when it was built. However this practice has gone away in favour of stick building. Blocks are usually used for commercial single story construction. It acts like a fire barrier between business and is usually quicker to install. We have a lot to learn!

@@ryanp9223 hey! I live here in Philippines, all of our blocks has 10mm rebars as well to support the load, and even a single storey house has columns and beams, quite enough to withstand a super typhoon.

Interesting build, not so sure on safety with blocks that can be cut with regular wood saws. And I personally did not care for the music. But the overall structure and in-floor heating is a nice design. I'm hoping the concrete ceiling left out will be the stairwell to the second floor, but the location isn't ideal next to the secondary exterior door. Heat/A.C. will dump/invade through that door to/from the second floor in the colder/warmer months, and if there is no door to the main floor from that room kept closed, it will affect the whole house. If the in-floor heat is the sole heating, then recovery will be a long time to the second floor unless the second floor has in-floor system as well. [Unless the stairs has it own closed doorway shut off from the room.]

Yeah, agreed. Here in Australia we put down very thick foam and then one reinforced concrete slab over the whole thing. The house is then built ON top of the slab. We have to do it that way because the termites would come straight up between the walls and any floor that was poured inside after the house was constructed.

VERY nicely done And in three months no less!? I saw a few tricks that are vartiants of things I do in construction and they earned an instant thumbs up while others were different enough for me to take notice, like bonding the blocks with fine adhesive... Not overly sure about the door reveals not having structural support like lintels or plates, but the rest is impressive! Steel toecapped boots would have been a good idea for most of the work and after re-watching certain area's I applaud the use of wellington boots during the pouring of concrete (thought you were wearing trainers at first) For those watchers who don't know, cement causes VERY nasty and potentially crippling burns and I for one don't wish to learn someone wasn't carefull and was hospitalized because they went for awalk through wet concrete in trainers (I know someone who did just that, it was NOT pleasant!)

Ile on ma 2,40?

@@djblaccs I want to emphatically to underline that my post is by no means a criticism! I rather share my observations, hoping that my comments may be of use to someone in the future. 17:11 I mean this moment of installing the window. I can clearly see that the door opening has a lintel (although a bit thin like Polish construction) and the window opening does not. Apparently, the height of the opening (because I can not find any other explanation) is selected for a specific window AFTER the walls are built. How lintels are built in Poland is shown in this video: kzread.info/dash/bejne/m5lryNJsY7Coh9I.html The guys (a small, family-run construction company) show what lintels they install, how they install and explain why lintels are like that. Unfortunately, the movie is in Polish and without subtitles, but I think the Belarusian will understand. From myself I would like to add that recently the most fashionable in Poland are high windows, so much so that the window lintel is also a rim of a wall made of heavily reinforced concrete. Another distinguishing feature of the installation of windows and doors in Poland is that they are most often installed by a company producing construction joinery. As a rule, the installation price is included in the price of the window (door) and is very beneficial for the investor. This solution has two gigantic advantages: a) in the event of a breakdown, poor operation of the window, there is no doubt on whose side the fault is, b) the manufacturer knows best how to properly install his product and obtains the best quality. Some manufacturers even condition the warranty with the installation carried out by authorized specialists, most often factory ones. Today, nobody buys windows and doors of "no name" type - from unknown manufacturers of dubious quality and without a real guarantee. Here is an example of such an assembly. Particularly noteworthy is the exceptionally careful insulation of polyurethane foam (which, if not insulated, quickly degrades) and very careful thermal insulation whole window.
