In March of 2019 I lost my wife of 50 years. Then a few days before Christmas I lost my Mother. I was in a Very dark place. Then out of no where I remember my wife saying routine is very important find your routine and stick with it. I found Amazing Grace(My Chains are gone). That was the first thing I bought from Noteworthy. That was the beginning of my routine. I wake up in the morning say the lord's Prayer and play the video and the same thing at night bedtime. If i was you, i would go into a »emty room * for myself talk to god, tell him your worries.. Focus. U cant take god for granet either. If u mean it, god will answer, trust me. He sees our hearts, everything really. God gave us free will. U deside what to with it, god cant do the work for u. U need to disiplin yourself. And u cant love the world and the things in it and the father at the same time. Not possible. Ive tryed it many times. Ask god for guidenes and strengt and to be shown the what to do, but god cant make the choice, only u can. When u let go off the world and bring jesus really into your heart, u get the holy spirit. Tell u from right and wrong. The bible its a good choice, but it might be kinda hard to und if u cant let jesus into your life, to take completly over your life, cause the holy spirit will make u und and. Guide you to everything, but beware satan is alwayS around the corner. Therefor always trust god, seek him.for everything. He know what u need and help u too sometimes before u ask. Where does your heart lies? God or the world? Walk in jesus fotsteeps.:) whatever u do, dont give up ok. And if u sin and u worry bout it, and u feel u need gods forgiveness, and u repent with all your heart, u will be forgiven and to grow. Hope u find it. :) be strong.

They will. One day you'll look back and realise God has been healing you all along. God is with you in your pain, and within the murk. I am praying for you. Our God is a healer and a restorer, and He loves you so much and has a great future in store for you. It may not feel like it right now, but know that the best is yet to come (I was at a similar point to where you are now and I never thought I'd make it but God held me so I wouldn't let go). You are whole, you are healed, you are loved. Lean on God entirely and let Him carry you through this time. God bless you.

Amazing Grace always makes me feel instantly happier when I'm upset. I'm sorry you felt that pain, but please don't ever think to end your life. Look at all these random people on the internet who care for you! You'd be surprised how present God really is. I feel a void sometimes, but when I pray, I really think, wow, he's there, and I want so desperately for him to hear and love me. He love's you more than you could know, and maybe this really was a sign. I wish you the best of luck. Also, read the verse Jeremiah 29:11 and Psalm 55:22 and Matthew 6: 25-27. These are three of my favorites in the Bible. Everything will be okay in the end. Just gotta give it time to be okay and to settle down. Take it one step at a time and you'll realize life is a gift!

It is simple to understand that any God that demands you praise is not a real God. Absolutely stunning. I have watched this video several times, my husband even loved it sounds like it's coming from the voice of Angels. I know a lot of people keep pointing out that these girls are Mormon but I think the real focus here should be this is a song that goes across the board when it comes to the belief of believing in Jesus Christ. We are devout Catholic's and also happen to love singing and music. We still see the symbolism in overall Christianity throughout this whole video of the water in Baptism and wearing white as a sign of purity. I think people need to focus on what unites us in our beliefs instead of always our differences. This is just beautiful!

There is only one Jesus Christ, the Son of God. There is no "Mormon" version of Jesus as you state above. I am sad to say you are mistaken in your judgment of this issue. Mormon's....correctly known as members of the 'Church of JESUS CHRIST of Latter day Saints' worship the Jesus of the Bible and none else.

Sadly, you worship a created God. The biblical Christian God was never created but always existed. We also can not become gods as we believe in only one God. You as in Mormons believe when you die, you can become gods. Not all of you because not all of you are worthy enough, but it's something you strive for. Sadly, it is a false doctrine and belief. Another thing, the biblical Christian can not earn or do anything to be saved. The Mormon doctrine believes you must earn salvation. Your book of Mormon, I believe it's Nephti (don't know if it's spelled right,) 17 or 14 says that you are saved by the Grace of God after you do all you can. All you can means, going to Temple, baptizing the dead, doing ceremonies, bringing people into the religion etc..meaning you must earn you salvation. The bible says that one cannot add any works to Christ or you lose Christ and if you don't have Christ, you have no salvation.

I looked at the water more as Christ being the living water and that she at first drinks of it, and then enters it to wash her sins away...and invites other to join her. Their version of the song is far better than the original ( and I am a fan). As an inactive member of the LDS faith, this song gives me peace, and reminds me of the testimony that I do have, and to open the good book again. Absolutely beautiful. I really hope this group of girls get some good national recognition, they are OUTSTANDING.

Every time I find myself missing my Mom I sit & listen.

Two years ago I posted things about my life. It is now changed for I have found God and Jesus. Things gotten so bad that I thought about opting out on this life, but God saved me from doing that. Cries out to God asking forgiveness of all the wrong doings that I did to others and forgiving others for what they've done to me real or imagined. I became a Christian and believe in God. On 20 November 2022, a pastor Lee led me into the pool of Baptism. My old life die as my entire body was cover in the water of life and emerged as with a white slate. Thank you my Heavenly Father for all you have done for me. Thank you for Jesus who die on the cross to take anyone sins away that believe in him. Amen!

This song sweetly leads me to the gratitude to God for being alive now ❤

I heard this song at my sons funeral today, it was his favorite song. He was only 43 years old and had 3 miracles in his life. He was 25 when he was given 12 hours to live. After the pastor and I laid hands on him we knew Jesus would let him live. He received a kidney from a living donor in church. He is in the medical journals as the sickest person from kidney failure ever to survive. Never give up on God to bring you up when your down, the church was packed with all the people he touched in his short life. I’m glad this was his favorite song and I’m glad he accepted Christ when I shared the gospel with him. I can’t wait to be in heaven with him and spend eternity with all my brothers and sisters in Christ it’s going to be awesome.😊🙏❤
