Oh my gosh! I’m glad you’re ok! I was saved today as well. A car came barreling down a canyon today where I was at the bottom and barely escaped. The guy was trying to kill himself. Miraculously he lived as well as me and the guy at the top of the canyon. God is good! 🙏🙏🙏

I told an elderly friend about this amazing singer and got him to watch the videos on his television as he does not own a computer. He is hooked on Lucy Thomas and with good cause. This is one of the most talented singers in the world with a voice that inspires and brings hope to us on days when life overwhelms us. Thank you Lucy for giving us your angelic talents!

I feel this young lady was blessed by God in every possible way. ❤

My son and only child committed suicide in 2014 I play guitar , my son was my biggest fan , for ten years I couldn't even look at my guitars , I couldn't touch them , I can not even explain how deeply depressed I am , I resently picked up my guitar again , I am in a fight for my life , I seem to be slipping deeper into that awful black hole of dispare , and music seems to be the only thing keeping me going , I just want you to know that this song has done more to heal my soul than you will ever know , THANK YOU !

I listened to this a few weeks ago while I was youtube surfing. I loved it then. Well, tonight, I was watching a movie on Prime Video. "On a Wing and a Prayer". I heard this song at the end of the movie and thought, I've heard that before. I never watch the credits but tonight I did, and I was right. I saw it there. I have heard it before. This is absolutely the best version of this song I have ever heard. Thank you, Lucy Thomas.

Seriously: right now I'm traveling by train, I started listening to music on KZread, and when I watched this video, I had to move to a seat at the back of the car so that no one could see me, because I started crying uncontrollably. Your voice, your face, your eyes, and the background music elevate this song (which is already wonderful) to levels of emotion that I cannot describe. Thank you for delighting us with your incredible talent. ❤👑

What wonderful song?! the man in the song is using David adultery and how he (David) is reaching his "HALLELUJAH" from Bathsheba and now he wants his "HALLELUJAH" from this woman he is basically dating or wants to date. haha The girl in the video is singing it like this is the best thing on earth! My 8 y.o. cat has been diagnosed with metastatic cancer with no surgery possible, I prayed God for many days to give me the chance to say goodbye to her. Every day she is still here I say thanks God for giving me the chance of enjoying her company (she is pain free at the moment). I thank God because now i know he still gives me time to enjoy her a bit more. Its not being easy, but at least she is feeling more loved than ever🩷

I am over 50 (not 80 years old yet😂), but my daughter who’s studying in Wales was playing this song in November and December last year while in induced coma (life support) fighting for my life in an ICU department in a Norwegian hospital. Luckily I made it through due to amazing health professionals but this song truly helped in my recovery process and I have played it consistently and countless times. I have to agree with all the others that This version of Hallelujah is just simply fabulous. So Hallelujah By Lucy Thomas gets the usual 900/900 from me.

Wow! I am extremely critical when I hear singers attempt this song. They usually stray way off trying to make it their own. You dear lady are a gift to the song. Each word clearly pronounced, stayed true to the original and still put your own twists here and there. Leonard Cohen would be proud. Amazing young lady. Simply amazing.

She’s an great singer, but I think your analysis is wrong. If anything I’d say she adds more of her own influence then the vast majority of covers. Whether you like that or not is of course your opinion, but it’s certainly not staying true to the original.

She has been professionally and classically trained over the past 12 years and it shows! Her musical, "Rosie", scheduled to debut late next year, will be her crowning moment where the World will witness what we already know; she is the best solo performer that we have ever seen and heard!

Lucy has brought me a softness that soothed me when I needed it. MY health has suffered after I had an A-Fib attack. 6 days in the ICU and intubated all that time left me paralyzed from the neck down for 3 months until I learned how to walk again. Well, now, you have A LOT of catching up to do..........be prepared to venture down the Lucy Thomas 'rabbit hole' for 2 hours........guarantee it will be the BEST 2 hours of your life! Someone like Lucy comes around......maybe every 100 years or so! Some suggestions: "Memory", "Somewhere", "The Way We Were", "Bridge Over Troubled Water"; these 4 should get you started! If you want some other masterpieces that are originals, then I suggest those from her original musical, "Rosie", such as "Starlight", "Suddenly", and her most recent one, "We Can Change the World"! Oh, one warning: beware of the 'Lucy effect', LOL!

This rendition is as close to heaven we will ever get while still alive. Thank you to Mr. Leonard Cohen for having written the song, and to Ms. Thomas for making it sound heavenly.

That's a good comparison.😊😉🥇 Lucy often changes gear for a moment, but then she continues singing very sweetly and smiles at the end as if nothing had happened.

There are countless covers of the song “Hallelujah” but Lucy's rendition of the song was chosen to be part of a major motion picture called “On a wing and a prayer”. That is exactly where I first heard the song. I had to replay that part of the movie 3 or 4 times as it was so powerful. The movie itself was awesome but this song just made it over the top. I had to look it up and see who did it. I am so glad I did. Awesomeness

I am not a Christian, But my tears came out so fast after listened to this song. I don't know and I felt the power from this song.

It is not a christian song. Maybe a jewish song.... It is first and foremost a love song. But using metaphors and religious references, as Leonard Cohen knows how to do so well
