Muslims might believe in their own made up version of Christ, but they don't believe He is the Son of God as well as God in the three in one Father, Son and Holy Spirit trinity. My mom died today. As far as I can remember, and I’m 52 yo, she always requested to have this song played at her funeral. Tonight I weep and feel broken. I lost my best friend and confidante, my mommy. This pain is indescribable, but yet I am comforted that today she has seen the face of Jesus. Rest mom. I look forward to an eternal reunion. Pray for us and rest in the arms of our Lord. 🙏♥️

I was also so messed up, beyond rock bottom, saw no future for myself except death or jail, and when I cried out to God for help, He did some amazing things in my life, healing some things inside me, lifting burdens, breaking chains, and washing me clean, and then slowly, gently leading me to the path of recovery. My life still hasn't been easy, but it's been so worth it!!

I sang amazing grace at my father’s funeral. He passed away on October 3rd of this year. Battling cancer since the beginning of the year. I’ve lost the most important person in my life. And he loved my singing. I sang last year at my grandmothers funeral too. He broke down crying. And I’m glad I had the honor to sing at my dads funeral. In memory of my dad Roman 1967-2022

@@ryangilley3212 Just because one is gay doesn't mean they can't be Christian. That's a very big misconception. The pastor at the church I sometimes go to says you can be both. However, the stipulation he made (and one I don't agree with at all) is that you have to be celibate because the only marriages his church will recognize is those between a man and a woman, and they disapprove of sex outside of marriage. So, yeah, I chose to be pagan because they better align with my belief that the anatomy between yours and your beloved's legs shouldn't determine whether or not you can get married. Love is love!

This was one of only request my Mom had for her celebration of life. My uncle took care of the ceremony and I had no say. This part was left out. As I cried her best friends friend stood up and began singing. She was a choir singer we all joined in and chills drained me. This has always been a powerful song for my family. My grandma sang it so beautiful when I was young. I'm not a religious person but I am still impacted by the meaning of this song. Especially through the eyes of loss.

I just have my own beliefs and I am spiritual more to speak. I believe what a person believes in and makes their heart whole is beautiful. I honor them for their beliefs and I always listen to what they share with me. I respect their choices as they should respect mine. This is a beautiful song. Thank you. I recognize this Glass church at Palos Verdes, CA. I live nearby. It is a beautiful church, but it will be relocated from the place to a new location. There has been earthquakes and land slides happening in the area and 😢the building and the road have many cracks and needed to be closed. Two friends had funeral services at the church and it is sad to see it closed. This is a special video to keep for my friend’s memory. Thank you.

I'm sorry for your loss. I am going through it now with my mom. She passed and has went onto heaven and I played this at her celebration of life service 2 days ago. Her only request. I just wish I would have played it for her before when she was in the hospital. There was so many emotions going on and so much hope that she was pulling through that I couldn't even think straight to play this for her. I do regret that. But playing her one requested song at her service made me feel a little better. I hope time has helped heal some, and praying it will for my girls and I.

My dad built a violin from scratch and after he passed we had a young man play that violin and this song at his celebration of life. I get total body shivers when I hear this song. This is just beautifully done. Thank you

YES!! The whole song is beautiful, but when Kevin started singing at the end, I started crying like a baby! ❤❤❤

I buried my dad to this after a long fight with cancer. My mom, my brother and I sung it for months. Today we set my grandmother down with him, side by side after she suffered many health issues. Their chains are gone, and they are free together.

I am trying so hard to come back to my Lord and Savior to ask the Holy Ghost to enter my heart and, with his love and mercy, lead me back to the loving, grateful servant of God that my heart and every fiber of my being longs to be again. My chains are broken, and Satan is no longer welcome in my life. May the mercy of Jesus shine on me and all those who share my hope.

Honestly, I love PTX and have for years. This is probably their weakest cover and it still was pretty good. This is a gospel song not a Christmas song. I was about to stop watching but the Mitch took over and I have never been so grateful for him. He seemed to be the only one singing as if he knew what it was about and gave it the realness it deserves. Everyone else seem to think it was a about hitting the big vocals and it lost it’s depth. There was no reason Scott sounded like Blake Shelton sliding by on a good vocal, when I know he can bring the intensity to make people feel moved like Sam Smith or Adele. It’s a decent cover, but I was expecting so much more.

These harmonies are absolutely bone chilling ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥

This song was played at my brother's funeral a little over a year ago at his request. He loved the song and I've come to like it as well. It continues to bring me peace as the last 5 months of his life weren't easy. Thank you, Pentatonix, for a way to remember my brother and remind me he is now in Heaven.

This song would forever be my favorite song ❤l remember the very first day I listen to it, and I felt something in me l couldn’t inmate’s the sound of my life but I kept telling myself there’s Jesus Christ. And in him l shall find grace and love ❤️ 😊

The song is true and those voice are just a small taste of the voices in heaven some day who will be singing praise to their Lord who paid their penalty on the cross. Salvation has nothing to do with religion and everything to do with Jesus and His Amazing Grace. Every person has the offer of grace. What you do with the offer matters for eternity. Most people spit at the offer and think they can earn heaven on their own merit. I know better. I am a wretched sinner and I cried out for grace and I have never been the same. I cannot wait to have a heavenly voice like this group and sing someday for my Savior Jesus. Peace!
