Just fall in love with the food you are cooking,otherwise it will come out watery. That's what he means.

I wish I could meet Gennaro, shake his hand. He INSPIRES you to cook, he makes you WANT to cook these amazing foods, enjoy this amazing culture, and live a life worth living.

A woodfired oven (for me) is a pretty fancy equipment. I get what you're saying, that's what Italian cuisine is all about :D

I'm gonna leave the recipe here for those who couldn't bother to click on the link in the description. ;) 30g butter 6 fresh sage leaves Sea salt 600g gnocchi 100g fontina cheese, roughly chopped 50g Parmesan cheese, freshly grated

The best food comes out of old kitchens like these.

He makes you feel as if he's your crazy Italian grandfather that has an inspiring passion for good food and sharing that food with his family. All of his videos make you feel like your family and I love that.

I like to see how protective he is towards his food. Can really see the passion there.

This channel and Gennaro is incredible. Such passion, it's so inspiring! Thank you, I will cook these dishes with my wife.

His love not only for food and his culture, but for life itself is infectious. It makes me very happy inside to watch him cook with such passion, love and simplicity. Viva Italia baby!

Happy for you, but if there's one thing in this world I can't abide it's fresh sage.

I watched the same recipe over and over again...it's not just about the recipe, it's about Gennaro's passion to cooking... his words when admiring the ffffresh ingredient.. his hands and the way he uses them when cooking.. just a little question: can I use dries sage instead of fresh?

I hope to one day show the same passion he has through my own cooking. It is truly amazing how much he marvels and loves what he does.
