Amazing Double Nunchucks

Amazing Double Nunchucks. Nunchuck or the Double Sectional Sticks can be spelled different ways! I've heard them pronounced as Nunchaku, nunchucks, nunchuck, numchuck, and numchucks. No matter how you say, Nunchucks, this Martial Arts weapons is famous and practiced in many different forms of Karate, Kung Fu, Taekwondo, and other Asian Martial Arts Fighting Systems. I have loved the nunchucks since I met Michelangelo from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles! Enjoy:

In the world of flow artistry and the school of object manipulation, the 'Tornado Spin' is technically called 3 beat weave. When you bring it around your body and are spinning it in reverse direction it is called a reverse 3 beat weave. But as you call the 'butterfly cuts', that is a reverse 2 beat weave. Each beat signifying count of the chucks moving per side. Not sure if you're familiar with fire nunchaku spinning, but you should certainly look it up if you haven't. It takes the martial art and puts it into a performance at form.

I started nunchaku training about month ago for an hour to two a day every day since and I love the way you teach those weapons with always a sense of humor with other teachers videos very often lacks. I was frustrated not being able to pick up tornado spin in a day but after watching this one I will keep in mind it migh take a bit longer 😊

Enjoyed the nunchuck video. I am currently trying to learn nunchucks but have always been a staff person. Used to have a 5 foot solid wood staff and a 6 foot made of pvc pipe that I would use when I just wanted to work my arms and relax. I miss the staff work but unforunately no longer have a yard to practice in.

It looks like it could be a lot of fun and very flowing and relaxing and good for stretching, lymph, and brain lightening! a great way to enjoy nature, hear the motion around you, and feel free!!!! How long should the nunchuks be? For a beginner, what should they be made of? And is rope, chain, or other preferred to connect them? do you have an online training program/video series? I'm in florida..

As a highschool student haven't had much time to really do anything besides schoolwork with all these AP classes. Though I got into my school's chinese lion dance club and they needed someone who was familiar or at least eager to learn weapon tricks. Tis was my finest hour! Haha, though now I try to squeeze in about half an hour of either learning new tricks or just swinging to get some tension out.
