4 KICKS to WIN Every STREET FIGHT!

4 KICKS To WIN EVERY STREET FIGHT! • 4 KICKS to WIN Every S... - #selfdefense #martialarts #kicking - Kicking is such a powerful part of Self Defense and the Martial Arts. Remember there are 4 main power kicks you must master: Roundhouse Kick, Side Thrust Kick, Front Kick, and Hook Kick. I went out and spent $15 on three straw bales and am using them as a training tool to improve my strength, power, and fighting contact. If you want to know how to fight and successfully defend yourself then you have to become a Kung Fu and Martial Arts Master of these 4 kicks. Kick to the air, do straight kicks, kick in sparring, and practice kicking to a heavy bag or straw bales!

@Doug Mooney First of all, I'm no longer a kid (I wish I'm still a kid...) Secondly, it doesn't take Jake to be the best fighter to earn my respect and admiration. Martial art is about value and way of living, combat and fitness comes second. I believe the best fighters see harmony as one of the most precious virtue of mankind , not to fight is the best victory.

Personal opinion here, take it slow. Rehab it. Start weak, build up the intensity over time. With the ACL torn chances are it will tear again during strenuous activity. So I would say keep it light, refine technique. Build strength through more controlled methods, use other side as your primary probably. But have the strength and technique incase it becomes necessary one day. Technique trumps strength. Strength simply makes what technique you have better.

You know what bothers me? Is that Sifu Mace only shares positive advice on different techniques, but also on nutrition. He shares A ton of advice! And people troll him, call him fake and everything under the sun! But I hardly see these so-called Masters being called out with their belly's over the Black belt where you can hardly see it? All I can say is the proofs in the pudding!

I haven't finished watching this video in particular but people do call out the fake masters elsewhere as well. Much of what people complain about with Jake is misrepresentation of their systems that they've spent their lives refining. The most minor details make or break ideas in Chinese martial arts and will injure the practitioner instead of the target. Essence is the engine, and Jake seems to focus on form. That's fine. But perfect form doesn't automatically create a good essence just as buying a nice looking car does not automatically mean strong engine. Most complaints are about the lack of essence, and the lack of the engine, which is to many practitioners the real art, and not the form. I've said it to others as well. If you receive benefit from Jake, then don't stop because of the hate. But understand that certain things are indeed lacking. He's fit, he's strong, he's flexible. But it takes more than that to get the art. But again, if you're gaining skill or strength or health, then stick with it.

Surprised I got a heart from Jake with that comment but I suppose it was because my comment wasn't filled with nothing but hate but more so neutral observation and was bitter sweet rather than just bitter?

Want to know what I rely on when I call him a fraud? I rely on 22 years of REAL martial arts practice, 22 years of training 5-6 times a week 3 to 4 hours a day. At this level you can tell the difference between someone who really knows what he's doing and a clown trying to earn his living from youtube and pretend to be a badass. He's a showman, and that's why people like him, they want to see flashy, unpractical, good-looking and complicated techniques only to impress their friends and chicks, they don't want to actually commit themselves intro learning true martial arts. Keep fooling yourselves...

@Doug Mooney Just because I compliment someone is trying to share his art, positively does not make me a coward or a dancer or stupid. As a matter of fact you know nothing of me, and don't know how i'm even involved with the martial arts? Since your putting it out there, can you share what qualifications you have? Keyboard Warrior. Ohh wait?? Nobody gives a fuck!
