AMAZING Discovery! We Stopped at a Moroccan OLIVE OIL Press!

Have you ever heard of Moroccan Olive Oil? It might be Morocco's best-kept secret! Have you ever wondered how olive oil is made? We stumbled upon one of the best-kept secrets in the olive oil world and were allowed in for a tour! We went behind the scenes at an olive factory (olive press) in the Rif region of Morocco to explore how to make olive oil in both the traditional & modern ways. While we were there, we also learned about the Moroccan Picholine olive, an olive that has lately been winning global awards for its unique & flavorful olive oil!

I am a big fan of olive oil, I consume around 2 l per month I love good olive oil, whether it’s from Spain, Croatia, Italy, Greece, etc All varieties have their own characteristics Today I bought my first bottle of Desert Miracle. The name says it all. Unique, delicious, pleasant Thanks to everyone who is working in the process of making such a great product!

True it doesn't taste like Spanish or Greek olive oil, I can eat Moroccan olive oil with just bread and tea and tastes amazing, but can't do the same with spanish and greek ones, taste bitter

You’re exactly right. We use it for cooking but also for dipping (with bread and honey for breakfast is my favorite).

Does anybody know which brand of Moroccan EVOO is really true and top quality? I've heard that the only way to be sure is to have your bottle tested by a reputable company to be sure it's what it says it is, but who's got the time and money for that? As you all know, there are a lot of fakes and mixtures out there, the labels could easily be a lie. So, does anyone have a recommendation? Which Moroccan EVOO is authentic and pure? Please advise.

Hi I want to raise an environment clean up and fundraiser in Casablanca but there aren't many people who know English or who can participate. Do you know how I can spread the environment cleanup, as I am even creating a website

What a positive initiative! I would start by contacting the US embassy in Casablanca or the American schools (neighborhoods California, Bouskoura, and George Washington academy) and British schools too. When we lived in Dubai, many volunteering activities were coordinated through the international schools with success. Keep me informed. If I’m in Casablanca when the activity takes place, I’d love to make a video about it 😊

The olive oil in the region of Fez is not of high quality, and I advise you to go to the Al-Ataouia region in order to taste the olive oil there It is of high quality, if not the best quality in the world.
