FEZ, Morocco - Incredible Discovery of World's Oldest University, Indiana Jones set & MORE!)
We spent a day in the old town (medina) of Fez, Morocco with a personal guide who grew up in the city. We visited both the Al Andalusian & the Al Kairaouine (Al Qarawiyyin) Quarters. We fell in love with the busy medina of Fes with its souks, tanneries, and fresh Moroccan food! The visit to the Al Karaouiyine Mosque & Unversity (the oldest university in the world) was a treat, along with a private visit to a bakery and tile makers shop!

Hi Carol, I spoke to my husband. He doesn't have the number for our guide as we booked the tour through the Hotel Sahrai. I did a google search of local guides and he's not appearing, but there seem to be a lot of qualified English-speaking guides for Fes you might book with. Good luck and have a wonderful visit.
