That blinking of the wait light indicates a malfunction of the Start box. You should check your glow plugs and test the box, this can leave you stranded once it gets cold.

​@@Team_Amateur_RC The light stays on for about 15 seconds solid during a cold start. On a warmed up engine it will turn on and then off. A blinking light indicates that there is an issue with the glow plugs, the start box, or that your batteries are imbalanced. There is no situation where that blinking light is normal. If you've only seen blinking lights, it's because they've all been malfunctioning. If you spent 5 seconds doing a google search of "HMMWV blinking wait light" and you'd see that you're wrong and not look so ill-informed.
