excellent video and very clean setup, I like the plug layout under the seat location. My rig has been holding charge good, usually a week or so without drain but it forces me to go over and start it at least once a week if I'm not driving it. Cheers!

Thank you! I try to avoid short start ups in my Humvee. Not really sure if it’s bad for them but as diesels like to run hot I figured quick start ups and shutting down cold might be bad.

@@Team_Amateur_RC absolutely I agree, yes when I do my weekly startups, I use the truck for the whole day. Forces me to use it. I don't think starting up briefly anyway would do any good for the battery bc it would need to have time to charge the system. Good looking out though!

That blinking of the wait light indicates a malfunction of the Start box. You should check your glow plugs and test the box, this can leave you stranded once it gets cold.
@SmartDrug9 ай бұрын
@@Team_Amateur_RC The light stays on for about 15 seconds solid during a cold start. On a warmed up engine it will turn on and then off. A blinking light indicates that there is an issue with the glow plugs, the start box, or that your batteries are imbalanced. There is no situation where that blinking light is normal. If you've only seen blinking lights, it's because they've all been malfunctioning. If you spent 5 seconds doing a google search of "HMMWV blinking wait light" and you'd see that you're wrong and not look so ill-informed.
