Nice! I just bought an 1152 and had a slantback from Black Dog installed. Unfortunately I have to ship mine to Australia so the journey home is a lot more of a pain than collecting it with a trailer! 😂 Looking forward to seeing your other videos.

You were lucky on that blow-out. Often when the front tandem tire pops it takes out the rear too. Happened to me. Luckily, a smart friend recommended I bring two spares!

Er war vor Jahren in einem Video bei KZread der Auslöser, warum ich mich entschlossen hatte, mir einen Humvee zu holen🙂. Habe es nicht bereut🙃. 2019 hab ich ihn auch bei einem Besuch in Deutschland, persönlich kennengelernt.👍👍👍 - Years ago, in a video on KZread, he was the reason why I decided to get a Humvee. I have no regrets. In 2019 I also met him personally during a visit to Germany.

I wondered that as well. I believe it's a base for a traverse and elevation tower, possibly for a TOW missile system or something. I saw one on KZread in a restoration video. It had a black tower about 12" tall, with degree markings around the base.

What’s the deal with the new or Humvees that have that push the grill? I heard it’s because of a turbo? But didn’t some of the older 6.5s have turbos as well?

The extended nose on front is to accommodate the longer radiator and cooling stack on the “ECV” Humvees. All these trucks have the 6.5 turbo engines.
